to a deluxe, DPMS .308LR rifle!  Wahooo!  I have done some wheeling and dealing over the last several days, and scraped up the money to get an AR10.  After talking to Coal Creek, and knowing myself, I realized there's no way I'm gonna be able to wait until close to Christmas for one of the SEBRs...as nice as they are.  

I started looking around for good deals on AR10s, ever since I saw the one that just sold for $800 on the EE the other day.  

I've seen the DPMS rifles on line..they look cool, and have some features that the Eagle doesn't for the same price.  I called Jeff at CMMG, he had a couple in stock, and bang...the credit card was out, and I ordered one!  2nd Day shipping will have it to my FFL on Friday...unfortunately, I won't be able to get out there Fri. Eve...I'm gonna be stuck downtown in DC in  a meeting...even if it breaks up at 5:00, it would take a police escort to make it to Manassas by 7:00 hehehehe.  

So, I'll have this puppy on Sat. morning, then on to the range.  I'm psyched!

maxell, there's a thread somewhere here...one of the guys who has one posted some truly sick groups with factory ammo...one of them was .217!! Most of the others on that set of targets were dime sized.  I can live with that lol.  

I think that tread is in the equipment exchange...started by a vendor (can't remember his name, but it wasn't CMMG).  Excalibur Arms, maybe...check it out.
