[ARCHIVED THREAD] - NEW COLT M-4 UPPER MARKINGS

Can anyone help me out with Colts markings on the M-4 uppers? I've obtained an M-4 upper, which supposedly is off a LEO rifle. It has a marking that appears to be a triangle or a modified A. The detacheable handle has a number 4 on the right side, preceded by a symbol that kind of looks like an A. Thanks!

Its probably a Diemco Upper.I belive they do contracts for Colt.

Theyre Canadian I think.

Kisara's pic is accurate. HOWEVER, if it just has the split A on it w/o either the Diemaco mark or "Colt" stamped next to it (which I have also seen) it's probably an aftermarket non Colt piece. Anchor Harvey has done raw forgings for everybody in the business, which is why Colt and Diemaco add their own markings to the forgings
