I have added to the collection.  Not pictured.  KKF .22 LR M4 upper,  KKF 9mm M4 profile Colt style upper.

The .22 KKF is far and away the most enjoyable combination.  I highly recommend it.

This is a few of my bolt guns, I don't have the 20" 700 anymore but I do have a Winchester Model 70 in .308 now that isn't in this picture.

It's a pain in the ass to take all of the stuff out of the safe and take pics of it when some come and some go.

AR15USA,

I’m interested to know which of your two AR suppressors you prefer and why.

I have a Gemtech M4-96C Predator that is a thread on and is dedicated to one upper. I am interested in getting a second 5.56 suppressor that is a QD type that I can move from weapon to weapon. I am happy with my Gemtech now and familiar with the M4-96D but I am completely ignorant of the Knight suppressor. Would you please share your thoughts and insight. Also, which can do you have on your Uzi? I have a Vector Arms Uzi and am considering the Mossad. Thank you.

Best Regards, J

Well, the sound reduction about the same, but I do prefer the Knight M4 QD. Why?
1. Speical force use it now
2. Much smaller than the M4-96D
3. It does look better

I have Mossad on my UZI

Hell yeah, I keep them all in my apartment in NYC with me!

(Well, not really.   Actually, Alfred the butler keeps them all in storage at the Batcave in an undisclosed location outside Gotham.)

Where in PA are you?  Anywhere near Philly?  The next time I go blasting at CP you're welcome to come play, but its strictly BYOA - (Bring Your Own Ammo).

REAPER_1,

Looks like you have a nice collection going there. I was wondering if you might tell us all a little about firearms laws in Canada. Some of your weapons would have to be registered as SBR’s down here. Is it the same way up there, or do they all have to be registered. I’ve also read that there is a 5-round magazine capacity limit.

Best Regards, J

Also wanted to say thanks for the info AR15USA I appreciate it.

I'm not a dealer, military or law enforcement, so all of mine are transferables.  When I found out I could own a MG legally, I sold a lot (actually, just about all) of my prebans to get into more MG's.

As far as the firearms laws go we have sevaral different catagories,Non-Restricted,Restricted,and Prohibitted. The AR is a Restricted firearm so there is no barrel length restriction. In Canada as soon as the overall length goes below a certain length (660mm)the firearm is considered to be Restricted. For handguns the length is under 4 inch barrel.
The FN is considered a Prohibitted firearm you can only own them if you had one prior to 1995,but I can get as many as I want this class also includes the AK,Valmets,HK91,93,93,MP5SF,etc.Here is a good explaination of the laws:

http://www3.mb.sympatico.ca/~jhipwell/info.htm

For semi auto center fire firearms the mag limits are 5 rounds, and all firearms are "supposed" to be Registered with our GUN NAZIs" but there is a pretty good fight going on about that here.
We are allowed collapsing stocks, bayonet lugs, and flash eliminators,no parts counts and here the G36 is non restricted so anyone can own one if we can get them imported.Actually the hardest thing about owning these types of Firearms up here is the fact that most of the parts come from the US and the Styate Department has set up some pretty stupid export regulations, the $100.00 limit is the most stupid thing I have seen ,of course the .50cal rifle ban sucks alot as well, now I can't get my AR50.Anyways enough bitching let's get back to the pics.

The sights on the ARs are:
1st Gen Bushnell Holosight(on the Dlask Arms 701 )
and
EOTech 552 (On the Colt LE Carbine)

ningonango,

“Transferable” weapons still require a lot of paperwork and $200 tax stamp. But you don’t have to have a “license” to own one.

The 1986 ban put an end to any newly manufactured machine guns so everything that is “transferable” is pre 1986. I’ve been told on several different occasions there are approximately 186,000 transferable (pre’86) machine guns in the US market. Finite supply + Increasing demand = increasing prices. A good condition Colt M16 or HK MP5 will run you about $10,000 or there abouts. I saw a MAG 58 a few years ago for $75,000, they’re probably a little more now. You might want to check out sites like:

A couple of AR's (80%'ers), a couple of bolt rifles (M1903 MkII, and a Remington 700 VSS), and an M1 Carbine have been added since this picture. Need a Robinson M96 and something in an HK too.

Alas the family is broken as they're now spread across three states and four safes now.

David -

I've damn near given up on that 590 - I'd like to get rid of it, but not so much that I'd be willing to take a bath on it.  I guess I'm just stuck with it for now.

The MAK is still in the safe all oiled up and ready to go.  I'm going to be down there the weekend of Aug 9 for a wedding - maybe we can do it then?
