Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - HELP! Mid Length vs. Carbine Length

Could some please post the length from the back edge of the flange on the barrel extension (the surface that abuts the front of the receiver), to the back edge of the site base for a regular carbine barrel.

The distance for an ArmaLite barrel is 8 7/8".

I'm having Rob, from Hiperform make me a carbon fiber, free float hand guard tube for my mid length upper.
