Was looking in the Shotgun News, and the GG&G ad had a new carbine lenth 4-rail handguard that could be installed WITHOUT removing the front sight! Looked like a standard 4-rail but has an upper and lower half, held together with screws.

It did not say weather the barrel would need to be removed or not, nor did it have a price/release date. Anyone hear or this? I could not find anything on their website.

I was told they hope to have it out by August, price was not known, but they are shooting for a retail of $289.00 or about. They offer offset rails to cover the positions between 12, 3, 6 and 9

I have been waiting on this for a while. As long as this is optics-freindly I'll have to have one ASAP. Tex78

Talked to GG&G today on the phone, they said the barrel would have to be taken off, and the delta ring assembly removed for the install. But with all the expert advice availiable here, that should be simple enough. Also said that it would come with 2 "long rails," and assorted shorter rails. Tex78
