Write to your Representatives, and Congressmen for start. Remind them that the '94 Crime bill wasn't a good piece of legislation to begin with. Then write to President Bush, the RNC Chairman Marc Racicot, and Tom Daschle. Write to them every month.

Also, remind them the sunset provision was so this could be evaluated to determine effectiveness which has been nil. Politely point out that the reason they wisely included the sunset was so that in just this case, ineffective legislation, it would go away and cease to infringe on the honest citizens such as themselves and you while having no effect on the criminals. Politely request they see to the elimination of this ineffective measure and instead pass something more meaningful such as life sentence with no parole for using a weapon in the commission of a felony. Above all else, be polite. We don't want our side to be seen as fanatical or unreasonable or impossible to dialogue and work with.

President George W. Bush 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW Washington, DC 20500 & as good a list as any...www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=187372&w=searchPop, thought I would suggest skipping over the radio talk show hosts & concentrating on the elected reps.

I would go to Congress.org to find your reps. It has all the contact info you need, including thier regular mail address which has proven to be the most effective way of communicating with elected officials. Emails are not very useful but I send them also because they are fast.
