Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is this an SP1 ?

Recently aquired a preban Ar with what looks like an SP1 upper. It has the A1 sights ,no f/a , the upper is marked  "C  M"  on the carry handle riser. The barrel is marked "C  MP(which are conected)Chrome Bore ". It has a triangle hand guard and a birdcage flash hider. Looks like a SP, smells like a SP........?

Well if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck then it has to be a duck.  From what you said yes it does sound like a SP1.  One important question, does it have the raised area near the magazine release?

The Lower is a preban Eagle. What would the value of the SP1 upper be? Any ideas?
