Sorry. It doesn't look like my newest photo host is going to come through. Looks like it's time to spring for an AR15.COM membership...

The bottom M4, while it's not pimped out yet, will be receiving a VLTOR carbine stock (on it's way), an EOTech and a Knights RAS soon.  I just got the upper back from Kurt where he installed his A3 Milspec Flash Suppressor.

I sure hope this picture works.

My VLTOR stock arrived to today from MSTN so I thought I'd repost a picture with it installed:

This started out as a beat up SGW lower that I  had remanufactured.  Then I install a DPMS lower parts kit, sent the postban upper to Kurt for his A3 FS and a forged front site with bayo lug.  I added the ARMS#40 last week.  Next up, EOTech and KAC RAS!

M4arc-

The SGW has gone along way. It's looking great!

Are you happy with the VLTOR stock? I love mine, but I wonder if I should have gotten the clubfoot version. I have a rifle clubfoot on my SR25. What made you get the standard version?

ls,

Thanks!  I'm happy with it so far.  I really like how it feels against my cheek BUT I haven't shot it yet.  It's also smaller than the 6 position RRA stock that it replaced which works out good for me because I'm a little guy.

Lumpy - As always I love seeing pictures of that rifle!

Awww shucks, I should have mopped the floor for that pic if I knew you all were going to like it so much.

Seriously, I am totally satisfied with the way it is right now.  Reasonably light, functional, maneuverable and reliable.  I wouldnt change a thing on it right now.

Im working on a TA31 ACOG upper to go with it just for fun [:D]

LS,

I just saw your question.  Sorry, I wasn't blowing off.  I got the standard version because I liked the looks of it the best, that's all.  I saw one on another thread and had to have one!

Marc,

Thanks for responding. I was the same way about the VLTOR stock, "had to have one!" I was just curious about the clubfoot carbine model and if there was anything special about the improved paddle and clubfoot shape. Would it have any benefit over the standard version.

Hey, this is turning out to be a pertty good thread! Nice to see a good selection of M4's
