Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Taking out molding marks

On my Eagle Arms AR15 there are thin molding marks on the A2 grip, would steel wool work pretty well to remove these? I just want something that will remove these but not damage the look of the grip further. Anyone have any ideas?

I lightly scrape along the ridge with a knife blade, held perpendicular to it. This way, the blade is touching only the mold mark itself.
