I'm looking for a lockable hard case for a carbine. There is one from Starlight that is 6 x 13 x 38, sounds about the right size. Any comments on Starlight cases or other suggestions please let me know.

The SC-061338 is the perfect size for a carbine, plus you have plenty of room for extra mags and accessories.I sell them for $175 shipped in the ConUs.Colors are black and OD Green,Thanks

I have both the Pelican 1700 and a Starlight SC-061338. The Starlight seems more durable than the Pelican.  Both are perfectly sized for my M4-gery.  Whichever one you get, go for the upgraded polyethelyne foam.

On a side note, I bought my Starlight from Jm03.  He's a great guy to deal with.

The only upgraded foam I see for the Pelican is the Pink Anti Static ?
Is that what you are talking about?
Thanks..

No, that's something else.  I think the model number with the poly-foam is 1700F.

Here's the place that I bought mine.

And here's another site that has pretty good prices too, but I didn't see the poly-foam there.
