I have an information overload and as a result am totally confused.  I have recenly purchaced the above weapon and was told by the dealer, it was safe to fire .556 in this weapon.  I have done so, less than 100 rounds for zero etc.
The receiver is stamped .223.  The AR comparison on this site rates Colt AR as .556/.223.  Other inputs state it is dangerous to use the .556 in a .223 due to chamber pressures.  Colt's web site is not very helpful at the present. Can anybody get me out of this fog?  Thanks for the help
