Yes, actually to even play the game online you must go through an M16 course to qualify and 2 other training missions that simulate basic training. When you do get in online games, your starting weapon is usually an M16 or variant. If its not it is either the M82 .50 cal, M249 SAW, or the M24 sniper rifle. They also have the M203 mounted on the M16 in some missions. I personally enjoy the M4A1 w/ red dot sight.

Nova Logic's "Delta Force: Blackhawk Down". Loosely based on missions in a Somalia type of country setting. Another new pc game is called "Vietcong" based on the Vietnam war.

All multiplayer online, so if you have a 56k your probably going to experience allot of lag & not have much fun. Awesome game though, been playing if for sometime....
