Bought a used upper and I need to remove the old bowflange camo job on it. Is there and easy way to get this stuff off? Will I have to refinish it once the old paint is removed? Little help and input needed here guys.

Or try mineral spirits or even acetone.

The Mineral Spirits technique has worked for me several times in the past and has not harmed the plastics or the metal.    Get a toothbrush and carefully work it out of the little crevices, carefully so that you don't splatter any of the stuff into your eyes if you brush too vigorously.

Near as I can tell the bowflage remover is just something along the lines of mineral spirits under pressure.
