Telecommunications Specialist for mid sized hospital.  They hired me for the IT Mangler position then did away with middle management.  Less stress, less responsibility and the same $$$!!!

I currently have preban ARs for each of my kids as well as over/under shotguns for each.  Now we need to work on that 1911 collection.

God help me if they grow up to be libe#*&$... I can't even spell it!

A year ago, I would have said Software Engineer.  Then, HP laid me off, and now I am a full-time college student.

I am on my way to getting a law degree, and after I pass the Bar, I'll be an attorney in the great state of Texas.

Former Marine MP, former Compaq/HP Software Engineer.

I'm a research associate in a virology lab trying to find a cure for the pesky Norwalk virus.

But I don't get paid much. So, I don't eat breakfast and lunch so I can feed my firearms habit, and I'm still overwieght.

My wife is a housewife that does transcription work at home and she makes more money than me [:(].

As of yesterday, unemployed.  I was doing contract work for a Gov't. agency in the IT realm, but they sucked up my position internally, so I'm the guy left standing when the music stopped lol.  Hopefully, the company I work for will win they contract they're in Best and Final for, and I'll have a nice 2 week vacation then back to work.

But hey...it's not stopping me--I'm gonna buy another upper here in a day or so, to celebrate being laid off...it's strictly for my emotional well-being, you understand [:D]

PO PO MAN:::Used to work for a high crime city, where the upper brass would not let you carry anything more powerful then a REM 870 with 00 buck. I now work in the lowest crime rate city of the state with one of the highest pay scales. The upper brass only rule to guns are,,"if you can qual with it you can carry it". Most of my extra job money goes for toys and such..

Union electrician L.U.#5. Buy toys when I am working lots of overtime. Play with toys when I am laid off. Right now I got to build the wife a green house so I can get more toys. She said it was her turn. I guess that is fair. Daughter who is 15 takes most of my money. When I get her off the payroll I will have a better budget. God I love her though.

Use to work in IT until I was let go. Went back to school and now I'm training to be a Motorcycle Technician. Wanna work for Harley when I'm done. I'm a gear head that loves muscle cars, bikes, and guns. I'm currently working at a Nissan dealer selling parts. So I'm happy in the shop doing stuff with cars and bikes. Makes me happy. I Don't make a 3 figure salary, but I wouldn't want to deal with all the stuff others have to sometimes. I can wear shorts and a ball cap to work. No suits and ties. I do decent and that's what matters to me. It's whatever makes you happy that counts. Do something you're good at and be a happy camper in life.
