Just as there are many makers to choose from, so there seems to be many vendors to order from. Who would you recommend for best price, customer service, etc.? Thanks again in advance for your help.

The best way to get an AR is through a local dealer.  He should be able to get the rifle under MSRP.  You could also buy from another member on the Equipment Exchange or at a gun show.  I have done all the above.
