A RRA would be a great 1st AR. I like the Tactical Entry as well, but that stubby stock is too short IMO.  Edit: Check the Equipment Exchange for good deals on RRA. |

Welcome and good choice! I too am "new to the board" and have learned quite a bit from trolling through current and archived posts.
I have ordered the same rifle, although I chose the option of chrome lined barrel and the LE compensator. I ordered in mid September... and am still waiting. If you don't like the shorty stock you might consider the ACE skeleton stock. http://www.bushmaster.com/shopping/buttstocks/skeletonstock.asp I ordered one of these as well and look forward to trying both options. First rule of ARF.com: Do not taunt ARF.com. The LE Entry stock is to short if that is your only AR. It is a nice accessary to have around for $50 but, you dont want to be stuck with it as your only option. Personally, I dont own any RRA AR's. All Colt, Bushy and DPMS. Although, I have heard many good things about RRA. |
