My next AR project is something to use for the occasional IPSC carbine matches. Using a Colt lower, with a A1 stock. Has anyone used the Bush upper? Any issues with installing a Armalite "Muzzle break", or is it even possible?

Has anyone put the ACOG, with the flattop mount adapter, on a Bushmaster upper? Any problems there? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I have a postban 16" V-Match rifle with the fluted barrel. You can mount whatever optics you want using milspec rails (ACOGs among them), the Bushmaster flat top is milspec. No problems there what-so-ever.

The Aluminum handguard will get hot under sustained rapid fire. ANY aluminum handguard will. Other than that it is a fine upper, quite accurate, and I think fluting the barrel is a great idea over the HBAR.
