Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - DPMS PRE-BAN???

I have purchased a DPMS A2 and found that it may be pre-ban. I was told by a gun dealer that if the serial # on the DPMS is lower than 10300 then it is a pre-ban. Can anyone confirm that. Hope so, it would be great.
