Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bullet setback on chambering

Got a new Armalite NM stainless- it sets bullets back on chambering, and leaves scratches on the bullet ogave from the chamber locking lugs as the round chambers. It seems to me a match rifle should not set back the OAL and mar the bullet on chambering, anyone seen this problem?

My Armalite carbine did that. I compared the feed ramps on the Armalite with those on a Bushmaster and it was obvious why it was doing it. So I sold the Armalite and got a Bushy.
