I USED BLACK ENGINE PAINT ON SOME PRE BAN MAGS
THE PAINT HAD CERAMIC IN IT.ICOOKED THEM IN MY GAS GRILL FOR A HOUR. THEY DONT SCATCH OR CHIP
THEY ARE THE SAME COLOR OF BOTH MY AR15 RIFLES
PAID 4.00 FOR THE PAINT AT MEIJER.AUTOMOBILE DEPT. GOOD FOR 1200 DEG.

Hey devildog, lay off the CAPS.  People use ALL CAPS to show they are upset or yelling.

It's made by Dupli-Color. It comes in a gold can and has a ceramic base additive. After heat treated(I use the oven) it won't be affected by solvents and is supposed to withstand heat to 1200 degrees. Comes in gloss and flat black.
