The guys on the AK side put me up to this. We want our AK logo back whenever one clicks on the "AK community" forum button. Here's my reasoning: The AR-15 is just as socialist as the AK-47, so I might as well look at and use the version that works the best in adverse conditions.

How can both be socialist? Well yes, I know the Soviets taxed people 90-95% in proportion of what they earned. What about America today? Let's run a sample calculation.

Assuming no inflation or inflation adjusted with interest from money sitting in the bank, let's say I make $250,000 per year, which is possible considering I'm studying to be a doctor.

Net = 30*(250,000) = 7.5 million

Problem is, I pay 40% taxes for income, state and local around St. Louis.

Gross = 7.5 million - (7.5 million)*0.40 = 4.5 million left

Problem is folks, I die at some point, and although you can't take it with you, it's nice knowing your children can, which really is the whole f#$king point of working to begin with: create a dynasty!

Enter the inheritance tax (55%):

Final Amount Left = Gross - 0.55*Gross = 2.025 million.

So let's see here:

Real Taxation Rate = ((7.5 - 2.025)/7.5)*100 = 73%!!!!!!!!!!

So that's how much better than the Soviet Union?

95/73 = 1.30137 times better or rather 30% better.

I rest my case. We need our AK logo back.
