Is a lazer boresight kit worth having or a waste of money? I know its just to you close so you can tweak it in. Thanks.

Hi Pete!

I use mine all the time to verify that my scopes are still spot-on each time I bring them to the range.  I have a list that indicates what the site picture looks like at 25 yards with the laser after I have zeroed at 100 yards.

That being said, for some reason, I've been challenged getting an accurate zero when using just the bore-site.  The windage is right on, but the elevation tends to be off.  Generally good enough to get on the paper, but not much else.

All things considered, they are a pretty inexpensive accessory these days.
