Hi Nathan,
I have an ongoing issue with a brand new .308 20" Heavy Fluted barrel I purchased recently, and I am hoping you can help me out. I originally bought the barrel on July 17th. After mounting it up, I took it to the range to get it sighted in. On the first round, the brass was stuck in the chamber so bad I had to use a rod to get it out. I brought it home and discovered the chamber was very rough with some serious gouging / tool marks. I contacted customer service and after some back and forth Mark agreed to replace it with a new Match barrel for my troubles.
I got the new barrel a few days ago and just got it mounted back on to the receiver. Unfortunately I now have a problem with the new barrel. The headspace is no good. The bolt is able to close on both the go and no-go gauges. I am using Clymer .308 gauges and a brand new Faxon bolt carrier group. I did not have any headspace issues with the old Faxon barrel you just replaced. Can you please help me get this resolved?
As a side note, I have called your customer service phone number roughly 15 times over the last few weeks, and have never gotten through to anyone, or received a call back.
Thanks,
Jeff
