I know you're currently making 6.5 Grendel barrels for group buys, but when are you going to start producing them in bigger numbers and get them out to your vendors like Aim Surplus and Right to Bear?

I can say they are released to production, but many priorities in front of them.

I see Joebobs has them of their website. Does this mean we could be expecting them soon?

After a month is it getting any easier to see the forest thru the trees for when these things are going to start coming out of the pipe? |

Would it be possible to at least get specs on the barrels? Maybe even pictures? I am mostly interested in profile and weight of the 16" big gunner.

If the 16" or 18" barrels made for the 65forum group buys are made standard production I would buy one. I may go ahead and get in on one of those anyways but those are the specs and price range I want. It seems the 12.5" ones are popular as well.

The specific profiles are their Intellectual Property. Faxon will use its standard profiles including Gunner and our Heavy Fluted. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

I'd love to have a Gunner profile 6.5 barrel from you guys. 5/8x24 threads?

I bought 3 of the 16" group buy barrels from the 65forums group buy, one for myself and two for friends. I still haven't finished my 6.5 rifle but both of them have and they are both shooting moa or better. I'll definitely be getting a 18" heavy fluted when they come out for an SPRish build

Just paid for a spot on the 20" 65grendel forum group buy. Could you please find 35 other people who want one?
K thnx! |

I'm looking for a 16 inch, need to have it in a few months.
Hopefully we start seeing some regularly produced barrels on the shelf soon. |

All 16+.
I'd say that makes sense given the calibre. Any 18" Gunnar rifle gas length? |

View Quote While we can go rifle on 6.5, we run significant overgassing risks with various loads to ensure functionality on the lower end ammo. The pressure curve on the 6.5 is not as high as 5.56 which runs into issues with the shorter dwell time. We'd always rather go the longer gas length, but with risk to function, its not the ideal solution for all ammo (which we have to account for). |

I've been holding out for a 16" 6.8spc gunner profile.... but if the 6.5 comes out, I could be persuaded. View Quote Grendel is gaining steam, SPC is fading. Simply not enough demand for the caliber at this time. |

I still look forward to trying out one of your 5.56 Gunner offerings. Likely an 18" rifle or possibly a 14.5" mid. It's too bad you don't offer them with a FSB as an option but I'm sure I'll manage to get it sorted. |

I'm a noob when it comes to the Grendel, but I have to ask. Why not go with an intermediate gas system in the 18 & 20" lengths?

Really excited for these to be released. I lack only a barrel to complete my build, and I've been holding out for a non-stainless barrel with a common thread pitch. Hopefully these will be rolling out in time for me to get things dialed in before the fall season.....I've been keeping an eye on the group buy at 65grendel forum, but they seem to have no ETA on their 20" grendel barrels either. I know as soon as i put money down for the group buy, the match series 6.5G barrels will be released, usually how it works
