Dear Silencer Shop.
We've had some difficulty getting a clear image of the facts regarding our order so I'm applying my case and situation to you here, since you seem to frequent this forum with answers.
Given the situation below, what seems the best course of action, and if there isn't one, other than -- 'well you're screwed' -- is there a sufficient remedy you can provide?
Thank you.
1- Pre-41 multiple suppressor purchase on trust.
2- Paperwork mix up, either by SS or local dealer, regarding names on trust. Local dealer assuring problem occurred on SS end, and re-faxes info to clarify.
3- SS still has wrong spelling of names on trust, clock is ticking.
4- Cannot reach SS to learn if the names issue has been resolved. (Yes, I understand everyone is busy as bees during all of this, which is why we were as patient as we were)
5- Deadline missed. SS doesn't break the bad news. In fact an email in October says they are mailing the package, so it appears everything is fine. Right?
6- When local dealer claims there is nothing to pick up, a polite phone call is made to SS to find out if it was lost in transit or?
7- SS says everyone on trust needs to send in their fingerprints.
8- One of the names on the trust is a deployed family member who is unavailable to make it to a kiosk.
9- Names are removed from trust except for original founding member, and paperwork defining the change is sent to SS.
10- SS asks for fingerprints again.
11- Again explained to SS that names have been removed an only founder (who has prints on file) is left on trust.
12- SS asks for prints for names on trust again.
13- Frustrated founding member goes to kiosk (nearest one is in next state) and sends prints... again
14- SS asks for prints again for all members.
15- Polite phone call to Heather to explain what is going on. Issue seems resolved.
16- Politely waiting with everyone else in queue.
17- Everyone has gotten their stamps.
18- Call ATF, told 'still pending'.
19- Patiently wait another 2 months. Call ATF again. Told by ATF that Silencer Shop didn't send in the forms until MAY 2017!
20- Explain to ATF that forms were sent June, July 2016. ATF says, talk to Silencer Shop.
21- So here we are...
Some, but not all of the correspondence:

Congratulations on your NFA purchase!
One of the things we will need to move forward with your transfer is a set of fingerprints. There are several ways to get them to us, so feel free to use the method that works best for you:
1You can locate your nearest Silencer Shop kiosk by visiting the dealer locator on our website. On that page, you simply enter your zip code and find the closest dealer with a blue fingerprint.
•If the dealer is different from the dealer you selected when you purchased your item they may charge up to $40 for the use of the kiosk
•If you choose to visit a kiosk, use this QR Code (VZCYRS) to get started:?
2You can purchase our fingerprinting packet by visiting this page.
•We will send the fingerprint cards to your shipping address and you can use a local agency to complete the fingerprinting.
•When the prints are complete, return them to us in the provided postage-paid envelope.
3You can obtain and complete the fingerprint cards on your own, and then send them to us at our store address.
Our address:
Silencer Shop
13729 Research Blvd, STE 630

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!

To Whom It May Concern,
I believe there was some confusion on how this order is being processed. Several purchases were made under an established trust that should have been valid before the deadline requiring fingerprints and/or PD sign off.
Please look into this, as at the time of purchase, several inquiries were made and vendors responded with "no fingerprints are necessary with the way this is being handled through a trust."
Thank you.

So unfortunately it looks like we did not receive the trust from you until after the deadline was already in effect. So this is the reason we are needing fingerprints, photos, and personal information for all of the trustees and grantor of the trust. Please let us know if you need anything else.
Thank you,
Chandler Curtis

Since your Form 4 paperwork is being submitted as part of Powered By Silencer Shop, you don't have anything more to do at this point. We will let you know if we need any additional information, and the dealer will let you know when your approval has arrived.
Please note that, in most cases your Form 4 submission will have already been submitted to the ATF several weeks before your order item(s) ship. This is not a notification of your Form 4 approval.

Hi,
I've responded to an email similar to this one and haven't had a response to my questions, and attempted follow up with met with similar results.
Is there someone there I could deal with directly either by phone or email?
I feel there has been some misunderstanding regarding our order. It was sent to you before the deadline with MTR confirming all paperwork was in order and correct. There should be no need for passport photo or fingerprints due to the date. Correct?
Please respond,
and thank you.

Hey XXXXXXX,
I apologize for the inconvenience, XXXXX and XXXXX are all listed on page 2 of the **** Trust as trustees. To fix this the trust would need to be amended to remove them as trustees or we would need to gather all of their information. To do this you would need to speak with an attorney to amend the trust so that you are the only trustee listed.
I am sorry for all the confusion. A simpler option maybe to select one of our Single Shot trusts. They are about as simple as a trust submission can be, and are suppressor specific. So more than one would need to be purchased if you went that route.
Another option would be to use one of our standard trusts and only list yourself.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thanks,
