I'd buy a AUG based solely on Bill making a trigger group for it. It's the ONLY bullpup I'm interested in. Please, please, please, please, please, pretty please, with sugar on top! View Quote HAH! It's the only reason I considered the Tavor. Still holding out for the AUG trigger... |
|
I have your triggers in all five of my ARs (4 SSA 1 SSA-E) and I would immediately purchase any AUG trigger enhancement that you would manufacture.

This is a bump
Bill, please save us from the AUG stock trigger! |
|
|
I'd get one , maybe 2 ( if Steyr ever released the 14" barrels ) . I definitely need 1 for my 9mm though

Also, I believe the PS90 trigger pack is very similar, if not identical, to the AUG trigger pack. So development work on this will satisfy two products, not just one.

Bumping this because I was shooting my AUG and SSA-equipped ARs out to 300 yds yesterday and the AUG trigger was painfully heavy after first shooting the ARs with SSAs. I really hope this project comes to fruition...single stage, double stage, I don't really care so long as it's made by Geissele.

I would be in for 2 or 3. Honest question, you have two AUGs or a long term backup plan? 2 plus a Nato stock. I try to have two of everything I really like. I have a 2020 TSM in one and it is satisfactory for sure, but I love me some Geissele goodness. |
|
I'd be in for a two stage one! Would have to buy an AUG afterwards!
Only reason I went with a Tavor over an AUG is the geissele trigger. |
|
Well, I would take it, since I'm already working on a 20/20 copy, the ony 2 problems, I'm from the homeland of Steyr (Austria) and i miss a few meassurements.
On the other hand, I got a few very sharp pictures, I do a lot of 3D drawing and habe access to our cnc machines. |
|
Unfortunately, there's not much love for the AUG in the trigger market.
As I said earlier in the thread, I'll loan my rifle out to a manufacturer who wants to produce a trigger upgrade. I don't even expect a free product for doing it. |

We are still working on an AUG trigger and getting close. Right now we are in the prototype phase. Hang in there guys!

Mother of GOD! I have to get another envelope to start dropping money into for this. Must have better AUG trigger.

My AUG will be here today, to say I want one is an understatement.

I have SSA in three of my SBRs and an SSA-E in my SPR build. I'm a huge believer in your products. Any idea as to a release date? |

Thanks Geissele!
Will definitely be purchasing one for my original Steyr AUG. |

25 triggers will be built this week. First prototypes are 4.5lbs and very crisp single stage. Short reset and overtravel. We are aiming for reliability which is not a hallmark of the other triggers which were made for this gun.
Will need to get a bunch of rounds downrange to test these bad boys!! |

This is fantastic!!!
Only thing left for y'all to do is to make a very light trigger that fires on both release and pull... for the M249s. |
|
Happy to help. Stopped by your booth at Camp Perry yesterday to ask about it even, but alas, no Mr G!

I ran Cola Warrior West 2 with my AUG and cleared all of the rifle targets out to 439. This has me excited, my body is ready.

I'm still waiting for someone to ask me what my shipping address is...

No real preference on single or double stage, a solid single stage at 5# and crisp would be a huge improvement, I'd need at least one for my 3 hammer packs...
