Rock River will be out of business in two years. This isn't the 90's when the average gun owner was unaware of what Ruger and S&W did.

Waiting to pass judgment until RRA has given there official response.
RRA, if you are watching when you give your response be straightforward with us. We deserve a clear understanding of the direction your company is going, no sugar coated responses. |

Oh they've definitely seen all the bad press and especially these posts. If the guy will respond quickly to a question on an ETA or barrel specs, he's keeping an eye out and keeping away.

Dear Rock River Arms,
I own one of your rifles. It works great. Never had a problem. But now I'm disappointed with you as a company. I'm not mad. Just extremely disappointed. Like your dad gets when you leave his tools in the driveway to get rusty. Or when you bend the crankshaft on his mower hitting the stump he already told you to stay away from. Disappointed is worse than mad, because you should have known better. Dad always said, (in German) "you run with them, you sing with them, you hang with them". Your silence speaks volumes. You should be ashamed of yourself. |

This is my rifle! There are many like it, but this one is mine!

As an Illinois resident I greatly appreciate the support being shown for us by all American 2A supporters. Let's be clear, this was no mistake or misunderstanding, RRA wanted the carve out and they sold Illinois gun owners out for 30 pieces of silver. I look forward to watching RRA die a painful death as a company, and I hope it is a quick one. As long as I can and as long as RRA exists as a company, I will remind anyone and everyone of this betrayal. They are worse than the gun-grabbers because they pretended to be on our side, but they made a deal with Madigan and Cullerton counting on the fact that we were all too stupid to notice. Guess what RRA?
Also, to anyone RRA defenders, they are 100% aware of what is going on, I spoke to a lady in their office on Friday afternoon about 2:00pm CST and they were aware of the situation then. They are hoping this will blow over and they can spin it as a mistake or misunderstanding. |

From what I've read, evidence points to SAs guilt, but RRA is up in the air at the moment.

I had RR on my list I was narrowing down for a 6.5CM AR and it is now scratched from that list.
And I was hoping to pick up an XDm and that is now off the list as well. They need to get hammered to set an example for the rest that this behavior won't be tolerated. |

My first two ARs were RRA. I've supported them and recommended them to my friends who shoot. Never again, they are dead to me now. Getting fucked by a hometown business that I've gone out of my way to support is a huge fuck you to me and all the people who have supported them. I want to see them bankrupted now. Sellouts.

Just like RRA threw the citizens and Dealers under the bus, they acre going to try and throw their lobbyist under the bus. Robski from AK4774 union showed where RRA helped fund the push for the bill for special exemption. RRA CEO knew exactly what was going on with his consent.

RRA's owner is at NRAAM in Atlanta, where he is meeting with a number of people about this. While many of the necessary people are in Atlanta, some are not which is complicating things.
RRA has been opposed to this bill (and earlier bills prior to it for more than a decade) and is still in 100% opposition to it. Both our exemption and the change in our lobbyist's position from "opposed" to "no position" were surprises to us. We found out after many of you, and have been trying to make sense of it since. A statement will be forthcoming as soon as it is possible to make one that is accurate and complete. It may still come out today. Thank you all for your consideration and to the many who have been willing to give us the benefit of the doubt. Steve/RRA |

I've used RRA as a parts source for a long time. I was looking at their website just a few days ago for parts for a new project.
Now the project is on hold. I know my piddling purchase means very little to you guys, but when I stop doing business with a company it is forever. I may actively work to help other purchasers make informed decisions, depending on the next move on your part. |

Let us never forget, government has no resources of its own. Government can only give to us what it has previously taken from us.
