Took mine out on my 308 for the first time this weekend and it was fantastic. Turrets were accurate and the glass is as clear as anything twice the cost.
My only complaint is I should have ordered the sunshade. A bit before dusk I was getting some video esque type glare. |

I liked mine so much I bought a ACSS dmr reticle too. Good scopes
ETA: Where can I find torque specs for the rings? |

I just bought this scope and I was wondering what brand of ammo in 5.56 would yall recomend.

I am going to so assume they're gone at this point. I've been eyeballing one of these and plan on painting it as well. |

Bump. Just picked one of these up for $197 shipped on a deal. I am having a hell of a time getting it mounted with proper eye relief on an AR15. In order to keep the Rogers SuperStoc where I like it, at the second-shortest position, the scope needs to be mounted so far forward that the Aero Extended mount spans the gap between my upper and my rail.

I'm looking for a cat tail for my 4-14 but the 3 gun stuff one has been out of stock for a while. Does anyone run a switch view? If so, what model did you guys use?

View Quote Check these guys out: https://mkmachining.com/index.php/product/details/120 3-D printed, $17.50, lifetime warranty. I put one on my PA 1-6 and on my PA 4-14. I like 'em. The one on my 4-14 slips very slightly fore and aft, but I didn't clean off the scope with alcohol so it might be a little slippery from flying lube during shooting. I have the Armalite AR-10 in the OP of this thread. If alcohol doesn't do it, I'm going to put one or two winds of electrical tape under it and that should do it. I got mine on sale for $10 during Independence Day. Labor Day is coming up so watch for a sale. ETA: not affiliated, etc, etc..... |

The parallax adjustment on mine is way off. The target is not even close to focused if I use the yardage numbers on the dial. Is this what I should expect or do I need a replacement?

View Quote I think my parallax is pretty close to the numbers, but I don't really look at the numbers. I just turn it till the target is clear to the reticle. You can call to check with Dmitri or Marsh to be sure though. |

Will this scope (specifically the HUD) handle a Remington 700 in 7mm Rem Mag, or should I keep it on the 308?
Thanks. |

Anyone have the numbers of the correct Butler Creek caps for the 4-14x44's ? It used to be on the website, but disappeared with the site changeover...

What's the best reticle for .308? I like the idea of the R-grid, but does it block your view of the target and surrounding area?
|

Quoted: No. The .308 R-Grid is the one to go with. Just got mine in. Took off the turrets and cleaned them and the click values seem a little more positive. Quality feels about twice what I paid for it at minimum. Can't wait to drop in on my Savage and take it out to a thousand.

Just ordered a R-Grid. View Quote Got to finally make it to the range, and have some questions. First, the eye relief, or eye box is very unforgiving, I have a hard time getting a good sight picture. Next, I really can't get the scope focused. I was shooting at 100 yards, and had to set the parallax at around 900, and the target was still fuzzy. Never could get it clear. Please, any ideas? |

View Quote I just did that again, and it was way off. I've been reading Clekner's book, and found out I was doing it wrong. Used a piece of white paper about a foot in front of the scope, and it worked much better than the wall. Back to the range, this is my first FFP scope, so it's a learning experience. Thanks Marsh |

Thanks. Yes, it is the standard ACSS. I love the reticle. Sighted the scope in and put a three shots touching each other in a cloverleaf at 100 yards.

You didn't specify which optic you meant, but with our standard 5.56/7.62/5.45 ACSS reticles, it breaks down as follows depending on your velocity (which depends on your barrel length of course): At 2600 fps, zero at 100 yards. Just ordered the illuminated mil-dot version for my Remington 700 .308. Anything I need to know?

I've tried two of these now. The first had canted cross hairs but zeroed and held zero perfectly. PA checked it out and replaced it with a new one.
The second one, I couldn't get it to zero. They've already sent a return shipping label. Hopefully the 3rd time is the charm... |

Still works fantastic, but the OCD in me is driving me crazy. Probably need to send it back in for replacement one of these days. Aside from that, it’s a tremendous value for the $$$. No question. |
