Function tested my Gen2 by accidently dropping it 4' onto concrete: it bounced, not even a scratch. still works like a champ.
The very low settings (1 and 2) are extreamly faint, but when cranked up it gets nice and bright. Seems like a great product thus far, need to take it out asap ;) |

what kind of battery does it take? i'm glad the gen 3 looks like the gen 2. i like the way the gen 2 looks :D

So will these fit LaRue Tactical's T1 mounts? They will fit but not cowittness in the LaRue Tall T-1 mount. I have a lower HK height LaRue T-1 mount inbound and will report back tonight if it cowittnesses. |
|
I just ordered another Gen 3 without the optional mount. So if nobody has posted any before mine arrives, I'll upload some pictures of it on the GSG-5.

has anyone had an issue zeroing their red dot?
i might be confused but l swear, last night after i got it nounted, i went to cowitness and move the dot over my front sight post and i seemed that the markings on my knobs were incorrect i would turn the dial, it would click over, but the dot would move opposite of where i wanted. not a HUGE deal as i got it setup correctly anyway just figured i would ask some opinions |

I think I got that right. |

Got mine in today and love it. It's atop my STG556. I'll take some pics and post them here later. Marsh, can I buy the riser mount seperately? I didn't
know that the riser mount option would include both mounts. Thanks for the fast shipping, this is my third order with you and all have been great! ARKAR |

My Gen2 and riser arrived today and I'm hugely impressed with the design and quality of construction. I'm not sure about the lower 1/3 co-witness (I'm used to absolute), but that's not a reflection on the Micro. Great job, guys!

Hey, anyone have a Gen2 or Gen3 and one of the Botach KZ Micro risers? They claim absolute cowitness, but that may give slighty less than lower 1/3 with the PA Micro.

We have LaRue cowittness!!! It is absolute not lower 1/3 but the LT-660HK does the trick!! Oooo... Seems kind of silly to put a $100 mount on a $90 optic, though. *HINT* *HINT* |

Optic mounts are the heart of your setup. I'd spend for it. I plan to switch between magnified optics and a red dot. LaRue offers repeatable zero with their QD mounts. Plus I like the free swag.

What does a KillFish do? Is it needed for indoor/outdoor range/target practicing? I'm trying to keep my AR lightweight and was wondering if the Primary Riser was milled out inside like some of the other risers on the market? I noticed 4.5oz weight, does that include the riser?
Thanks to any and all replys.............. |

The kill flash does just what the name implies, it kills flash normally seen from the front of the gun. If you are shooting at someone you dont want sunlight to reflect off the optic and give away your position. It also works to eliminate some glare that you might get in bright sunlight.

And yes, the PA QD riser is hollowed out to reduce weight. Sorry I missed that question. The riser only adds 2.5oz becasue you are removing the low mount. |

Will the Micro fit on the DD T-1 mount? Here are your riser options. It will fit on any T-1 mount Our riser, the Mako and KZ all give you lower 1/3 cowittness. The LaRue LT660Hk gives you absolute cowittness LaRue LT660 tall and Daniel Defense riser will not allow for cowittness. The Aimpoint Micro LRP Quick Release Lever Kit does not fit. |

Marshal,
It looks as though the KAC (Knights Armament) T1 Mount will give absolute co-witness (or very close) as well. It uses spacers. It is a little on the $ side... "The KAC micro mount with no spacers places the centerline of the T1 2.475" above the bore line. I don't recall the exact numbers for the LT660HK, but it's in the range of 2.4xx." (Info provided by Molon from this forum) http://www.box.net/shared/static/qks4a48nmz.jpg -T |

I will order one to try. |

Got my Gen 3 Micro in. Like everything else Marsh puts out, it gets 2 thumbs way way up.

87GN,
I suspect that ADM throw lever came from the TD stubby that survived your infamous hammer test. |

BlahBlah, if you look at the first post on the previous page, I posted a picture of a knockoff of an Aimpoint low mount with a microdot that gives a cowitness.

We have just diccoverd a problem with the Gen 2/3 Micros. On at least some of the units the base holes were drilled too deep and penetrated the sight body. The factory attached the base then purged them so it did not show up at the factory. This was just discovered and at this point I am not sure if they are all effected because it does not show up until the base is removed. Once we get a handle on it everyone that bought one will be notified on what to look for. Sorry for this happening but we will take care of it.
no more sales until we get it resolved. Thanks Marshall |
