As someone who works for PSA's marketing team, yes this is the reason. Trying to drive traffic. (I've never worked for or been associated with Palmetto State Armory).

Anyone else constantly checking this thread for updates?
Also is anyone else irked that PSA needs to come out with a "premium AR" line. I feel like we could have had a krink years ago if it weren't for the fact that 16 inch AR's with custom sheet metal mlok handguards weren't PSA's bread and butter. But that's the average firearms consumer for you |

Josiah,
Any word if Krink specific parts will be offered? You guys would do wonders if you’d sell a Krink dust cover. |

Yeah it was like late q1 early Q2. Q2 hasn't even started so to be totally fair they're not actually behind. It's frustrating but I still trust it will be out before Q3.
I believe PSA just had a gathering didn't they? Anyone have any pics of the krink at that meet? |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: I think the biggest question everyone has is will there be a version with the traditional rear sight? Same. I'm in for one in 5.45x39 if it's got the normal rear sight like my SLR107 and 106 SBR's. |

Can't say where but I also recall someone from PSA mentioning that it would not be released with that ugly sight that was shown at shot. It may have been arfcom on the shot show thread? Possibly YouTube, but I remember reading it so probably not.

Give me Krink. Krink me! Krink now! Me a Krink needing a lot now.
But seriously, what happened to late Q1 early Q2? Early Q2 is just about over and no updates. Has anyone seen anything lately? Any updates on the PSA forums? YouTube, Instagram? Have the PSA people said anything on Facebook that might update us? |

Palmetto State armory is gay for not updating us after missing their stated release date (Early Q2).
Palmetto State employees please respond, how far are we from the krink? And for the love of God please make enough to keep up with demand. For those who check this thread for real updates I apologize that mine is just a complaint. But I would love for a palmetto representative to respond to this. |

I know its time to put away the Christmas Lights if PSA says its coming soon.
I can go on youtube and see their shot-show coverage every January for the last 3 years with teasing. I applaud PSA for doing so much for us as a gun community and their vertical integration for guns, ammo etc and fantastic low prices - I might as well have paycheck direct deposit for PSA. However I figure their marketing has a strategy to have people continually baited to watch for updates for the products we really really want (Working Mans MP5, Krinkov) while they throw many other products in front of us we wouldn't ordinarily buy but then do because we see it (ARV- where the V stands for Vaguely resembles an MP5) Here is Derek Hicks lead engineer for the MP5 project - Its definitely going to be 2020. To be fair PSA did come out with the 100 series and spiker. The mp5 market is terrible Imo, Turkish made mp5's for $1100 on HK tooling. Hard to beat that. The krink can't be that hard to manufacture, unfortunately their market wants "premium AR's".

PSA could feasible sell a MP5 without taking a massive loss per unit. Unless they plan to do so and rely on their other products offsetting that loss, the PSA MP5 is dead and buried. |

I'm glad they didn't release the MP5, because they clearly do not know how to MP5, and it would have taken away resources from other projects that need doing.

This is never going to happen this year. Maybe we'll see it at SHOT 2024 haha

Let's keep this thread on topic with Krink. If you have any questions about MI pistols, feel free to PM me - Josiah

New update, supposedly roll out around end of year. |

After three years of driving 6 hours to the gathering and then not even having prototypes to look at I’ve pretty much decided it isn’t gonna happen.
