This past summer I stopped by the DPMS table at the St Paul show and got talking with the really nice older gentleman at the table. First off, I wanted to thank you for TAKING ME SERIOUSLY! I look young (and am pretty young still), and the DPMS table is the ONLY AR15 related table that treated me like a potential buyer rather than completely ignoring me, or telling me not to "Finger-F#CK unless you're going to buy!" which I actually heard from one dealer at the show. I certainly wouldn't ever spend a cent with them ever again. THANK YOU DPMS for the nice treatment!
Second, you were VERY helpful in my selection of a bipod, adapter and tactical sling! I got a great price on the items as well! I loved the service I got there!!!
Then one thing was overlooked when I was there. I off-handedly asked if there was any way to lighten the trigger pull on my AR15. The nice service man dug out a little plastic bag with a new hammer & trigger spring set telling me to give it a try. I bought them for a low price (which I wasn't sure was worth it, but I figured I'd trust this gentleman's AR knowledge).
When I got home, I installed the bipod/adaptor, and the tac-sling, the springs went into my cleaning/maintenance ammo can, and there they stayed for about a month. I found them again, and installed them in my spare time (less than 15 minutes).
WOW! What a change those springs made! The trigger is MUCH lighter, and MUCH more smooth! This may not seem like much to many people who spent about $100 or so for an adjustable match trigger, etc., but I spent less than 1/10th that price, and I've got a FANTASTIC, CONSISTENT, and SAFE 2.75 lbs trigger pull! I can now get even MORE accuracy out of my 20" heavy bbl AR15!
Normally, SERVICE and ABILITY TO HELP is what determines what companies get my business, and DPMS has demonstrated a vast amount of both to me... For that service, knowledge, and ability to help, sincerely, thank you. In modern society it is becoming harder & harder to find a business with that quality of service.
Thank you DPMS!
