I recently purchased a customized DPMS. It's an A3 flattop w/ SST reciever, SST 20" bull barrel and Ti coated bolt assembly. This rifle had a couple issues when I recieved it.
I am one of those people who is often known as a "customer from hell" because I demand too much if I pay over $100 for something and it doesn't work how I think it should work.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU! to Dave and Dustin at DPMS for taking care of me and not climbing over the counter to wring my neck =)
After everything was taken care of, I installed a JP trigger and hit the range.
Ok, so I got a rifle that likes only top-quality ammo...I can live with that. The real kicker of the deal is that I ended-up with one of the most accurate rifles I have ever owned!!!
I consider myself to be "not the most disciplined" shooter, so when I ended-up with a gun that CONSISTANTLY nails 3/8" groups at 50 meters (using a cheap scope!) I was ecstatic to say the least! With a little practice and discipline, I have no doubt that this rifle will be capable hole-in-a-hole accuracy. Could it get any better after the barrel is broke-in???
