Mine came today...carry handle model. Plenty of bubble wrap. Actual Colt box had a tear right down the middle of the inner insert but writing it off as "it happens" with crappy cardboard. Rifle...perfect. Put together in February 2016. Wish I had money for a couple more. Quite the deal even with the shipping. Lovin' the Pinto Pony.

My carry handle arrived today the rifle is pretty beat up. Not just your typical colt finish I'm satisfied with the rifle I just want you guys to know I will buy another.

Jumped in on the Mexico colts, I like colt lowers just cause but the mexico one is another cool story to the collection. Got a stripped lower but with the M4LE roll marks. Will be at My FFL hopefully tomorrow

I just picked my pair up. I am VERY pleased.
If you are the fence, get off of it and buy at least one. No brainer. |

Great...why did I have to ask about the Mexican lowers and be shown this thread?! Now I need one...
I've always wanted a fully Colt rifle. I wish they were selling the 14.5" rifles, too! |

Any reason to think these are constructed any differently than the LE6920's that are made for US LE?

View Quote In regard to packaging, both boxes had a small exterior tear mid way down, and the cardboard flap on the inside was turn in half, and bag was ripped open. Other than that, everything else was perfect and the receivers were damage free…. in fact, compared to the thousands of Colt USGI and civilian rifles that I have handled over the years, these are some of the nicer quality fit and finish Colts that I have observed. |

would love to own one, but how many ARs does someone need? Okay outside of the top 1% of lunatics on this site...
So are any of these with the sling swivel up front still available? Anyway to get one without the gold membership? |
|
You can buy the through the 'Daily Deals' links that are on the site. The carry handle version also has the sling swivels I believe.
To answer your question about how many do you need.....you never have enough AR's. I have nine currently, the tenth in progress and I have at least three more that I want to get...make that four more. |

Correct. The carry handle version has the sling swivel on the underside of the barrel. If you want the side sling swivel, you need to get the MBUS version. I don't remember which stylle comes.with the MOE version.

Are these things worth more than $699 and this is a ridiculous price, or is this what we can expect to pay for a 6920 now?

The remainder of these LE6920's sold out of both the 'Gold Deals' section and the 'Daily Deals' section of Gunbroker overnight. They are all gone except for one that is for sale from an individual.
I would almost bet someone bought all of the remaining inventory. |
|
I'm not sure they are. The ads could have simply expired and have yet to be renewed. The magpul version is still available thru the website (not GunBroker). I guess we'll see in the next couple of days if they pop back up.
ETA: I guess it does say limited quantities remaining. It's possible they're gone. Hope not. |

Looking at ended auctions, some of the last few sales stated 'limited availability'.

Here is a good deal.

I have two with the carry handles… they are nicely built rifles. I am very pleased with my purchase. I highly recommend them. You just can't get a better deal than those. I am tempted to buy a second one.

I got one of the last batch and the shipping from a "daily deal" was 48 bucks out he door. In retrospect, I probably should have signed up for Gold Deals membership and the shipping would have been free. dangit!!!! I was upset when they sold out last week and was so excited when they were back on I was upset about the shipping, but happy I still got one of the carry handle models. I stared at the magpul version on "gundeals" .com and couldn't bring myself to get one. I also had a question about the roll mark on the Magpul version versus the carry handle version
