I have a BM shorty, 14" barrel with the 2.5" muzzle break on it. Sorry I don't have the model number. This is my first short barreled AR.
The problem, or concern, is that the gun shoots great at 25 yds. Going out further to 75 yds it is really sloppy. I haven't measured the groups at 75 yds. I didn't at 25 yds either. I am shooting at a standard 9" diameter paper plate with an orange target circle inside it. At 25 yds using the iron sights, I can keep all the rounds within the 2" circle. At 75 yds, I get some in the orange area but, most are within the 9" diameter of the plate. I have fired from a bench as well and get a little better results, however it is still not quite what I wanted.
IS this typical for this short barreled rifle? Anyone else have one of these with the fixed CH?
BM any help here would be appreciated.
