I recently received one of your folding weaver-mount front sights as a gift, and have a few issues with it.
1.) Is there any way to modify it so that you don't have to depress that little button to raise the sight? That thing is pretty small, and under stress and/or weaing gloves, that thing is almost impossible to engage efficiently.
I am used the the GGG that is being held down under some tension, pops up easily, and requires you to push a button to fold it down.
Is what I want to do feasible?
2.) When your front sight is in the "up" position, there is significant foward-and-back play in the post itself while it is engaged. I have tested it out, and the difference in groups is 3-4MOA!
Is this typical for the manufacturing tolerances for this sight? Do you guys have a fix for this?
Like I said, I got it for my birthday from my father, who bought it a few months ago. Looking at your return policy of 30 days, what options do I have?
Thanks for your help.
