An update and a range report.
I took the bushy to the range this morning. I met Campy, plateshooter, and Waldo there at an ungodly early hour.
Waldo showed me how this thing operates and what and where to clean when I get home.
At any rate I had about 500 rds of Barnaul 62 gr. I loaded up my two USGI mags and went to town. Was shooting point of aim and fast doubles. Went through a couple hundred rounds, slow fire, rapid fire, didn't matter. The bushy eat the barnaul as well as the SAR-3. Shot great, no malfunctions. Since I got off work at around 7am it still had the factory preservative in it and I had not cleand it more than a patch down the barrel to clear any possible obstructions.
The guys thought this might cause a stopage but none to be had. This rifle is a keeper and Bushmaster has my business for good. I will recommend them to others, and I got friends that buy lots of toys.
