Quoted: Quoted: Welcome to the tOBR owners club est 2012. We tried to warn you to buy if you’re happy with the rifle as it is because future support may never happen. ding ding ding ! They announced at SHOT that barrels will be available for purchase separately. I bet we see that happen fairly soon once they put a good dent in the initial rifles being shipped. |

Quoted: @SuperJlarge I have very little experience and knowledge in the precision shooting arena. This is my first precision bolt gun, and I also don’t know crap about higher end magnified scopes. I’m currently reading a lot about MOA & MIL reticles and how to use them, as well as how the zero stop turrets etc work. I have had great success using multiple optics in QD mounts on a single firearm for work over the years and that’s why I’m thinking the same way about this particular rifle, but please write more about the optic you’re referencing. Does it allow for multiple zero settings? View Quote It’s probably better for you to just read or watch a video on how they zero. They are crazy easy. Instead of swapping optics and having to tote them if changing in the field or traveling, you can just “adjust your scope” by whatever the change will be. For example: going from 6.5c to 22-250, dial 0.8mil low, 0.4mil left. To go back, it’s the the reverse step. Instead of carrying an extra scope/mount, you’d just need to remember or keep a card mounted to the rifle or scope cap detailing the shift. For most practical purposes, you’d really only need that between 2 barrels. If you’re swapping out more than that, you’d likely have the time to fire 1-2 shots to zero a scope; hence why having multiple optics/mounts seems like less of a benefit. Even when using QD mounts on a 20moa rail, if you select the wrong slot on the rail, by even 1 slot, you’ll be off a noticeable amount even at 100yds. Great results so far; I’m curious how others rifles will perform. You may be getting better results than ML was getting. |

My Siete arrived today!
#105401x Tranquillo Owners Early Order Swapped the 6.5 barrel with 308 which was super easy with included action block and torque wrench. Fit and finish is perfect like my tOBR and Larue's. The action is buttery smooth! Rifle seems balanced and the folding mechanism is rock solid. Trigger broke very light and smooth with no creep. Opportunity for Larue to design a lightweight adjustable stock similar to a Q Fix would be welcomed! What was included will work but doesn't seem to be the best option, more of an afterthought with the riser. I can't wait to shoot this! An unplanned roof leak and a new roof last week will most likely delay my scope purchase. |

Picked mine up Monday night. Im in love with this rifle and cant wait to shoot it. Its like nothing I currently own. Really like the action and fit and finish is the best Ive seen from any of my larue AR parts. The trigger is great, but it will take me a little bit to get used to the single stage feel. I got the 22-250 barrel as the second barrel. Trying to decide on a long term optic for it but for now I stole a burris XTR 2 3-15x in larue mount from another rifle for it. Barrels are a bit long with the can on it to use out of my blind, but I am excited to get it broke in, zeroed and calling coyotes with it in hand!

My box that's shipped to the buyer arrived Wednesday. Rifle landed at FFL Thursday. Picked it up yesterday. Also picked up my prescription of Moviprep. Gun will sit until after my colonoscopy on Monday. Was a perfect asshole in the past 2 checks. Not so optimistic this time.

Got out to the range and did the barrel break-in with a box of Hornady Black 140
Break-in “group” was a big ragged hole with a straggler on the cold shots after cleaning. Then shot a box of 143gr precision hunter. Had one awesome 1/2” group of 4 shots in 3 holes all touching each other. Then was too impatient I guess to do it again. Not loving the stock. Will probably end up with a magpul. Maybe one more trip before I decide. |

Anyone check if the RAT has the rod kit? The capped buffer tube should have a bit of storage as well for snacks.

can someone enlighten me on what the Larue action bar is and what its for please?

So, I am curious a box of goodies showed up, and it includes the RAT, bolt, spare barrel, mags
Box arrived at FFL has assembled barreled action in a stockless chassis . Did it leave the shop as "other" or as a "rifle"? |

So my local Academy actually had a PRS G3 stock.
I bought it thinking I would try it on the Siete since I wasn't in love with the RAT. no workie. I saw the IG post where they said it would work......ok...it technically fits.......but.......it looked awfully long. Length of pull with the PRS unmodified is 16 1/2"........so yes, a bit long......maybe my scope could be set up with different rings and pushing everything way back..... I'm running a LaRue 20 moa QD scope mount and it's flush with the back of the reciever already and my scope is already pushed back-from-center a little bit. pulling the carbine adapter spacer whatever thingy doesn't let you push the stock up much further. it has "rails" under the bottom that hit the folder. That only gave another inch closer. there is probably about 2 1/2" that could be cut from the front of the stock....I'm not willing to do it just yet. there is actually more cheek real estate available with the RAT than on the PRS...so i basically probably wasted my time...but now i know and don't have to keep wondering. maybe this helps somebody. may try the LuthAR carbine stock if i'm still wanting different after the next range trip. other than the stock, i'm very happy with the gun and glad i got it. haven't even changed the barrel yet. |

View Quote I was going to try the PRS since I have one NIB somewhere. I have one on my 6.5 UU. I just took some measurements and realized it was way too long. I’m thinking about trying the B5 Precision Carbine stock. It’s much shorter than the Magpul. |
|
I almost cut it.
If i hadn't have just bought it i might have. i layed the RAT on top of it and saw how much more cheek rest i already had and it made me decide to just put it back in the box. |

What barrel combo?
Curious if serial numbers are shipping based on orders or the build pattern of rifles |

The length is good but there is not enough cheek piece height adjustment. |

I haven’t had a chance to get to the range yet. Who knows when I will.

My sparrel & parts just showed up. Waiting on the rifle to hit my FFL

What day did you get your order in. Last 4 numbers of your order?

Received mine yesterday. Order number 10556**. 6.5 and .308 barrels.

Mine should be shipping soon. Minor glitch with FFL info and the new system.

Quoted: We might be the only gunshop with a brand new Siete for sale. Other one is mine .260/.308 combo. Need a scope and mount now https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/477522/20230330_131501-2764168.jpg View Quote Cool |

Can someone post a picture from the ejection port looking into the the breech area? Specifically, I'm looking for the receiver to barrel, feed ramp area.
TIA. |

Could someone get a measurement of the barrel diameter at the muzzle for me? I opted for the thread protector since will likely never get a TranQuilo but Mark has said the rifle performs better with a brake so I’m looking at options.
