So if the short barrel is installed there is something that wont let you install a stock or do you mean it just says in the directions not to do so?

Update.....and to clarify for Mark, my husband is Nolo #1.
My husband and son took another father son who have never shot anything other than a shotgun to enjoy what little freedom is allowed in the state of Connecticut. Unfortunately, when they arrived at the nearest outdoor range, they didn't open because it was a solid sheet of ice. That range is an hour away and has a 50 yard limit. Not to have the day totally ruined they went to an indoor range which has a 20 yard limit. The set up there didn't really allow for any fun with Siete. :( Pic of what they took below. Going to try again at another range tomorrow or Tuesday with 100 yard limit. In the spirit of 2a they created some new fans of EBRs. All mounts are Larue: 660, 659, 2x104 and 271. Sorry to disappoint but he will try again tomorrow Before any of you think he should have just blasted away off the back of the deck, there are homes that surround a wetland area. Attached File |

View Quote There will be a sequence to go from an over-16” barrel to an under-16” barrel. Essentially it will say “Hey simpleton, do not put that 10” barreled Siete action into the Siete Chassis with anything other than the Armbrace equipped C2F, or nothing at all in the SC’s female threaded attachment point. . |

Quoted: Okay. Here we go. First off, thank you for the kind responses. I appreciate the offer to help with the pics but my husband was all to pleased to sign me up for an account here to be able to post them myself. I only have a few pics as today was a busy day. All I have is a phone so my apologies. Of course, my husband made time to get the the gun store before it closed to pick this thing up. However, we have 3 kids and what you barely see in the second picture is the hole where our dishwasher should be. New one going in tomorrow. So as the manual dishwasher and sandwich maker (my husband says that is some inside joke here), it took me some time to get to this. Nolos in the pic https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/501988/IMG_20191220_163048539_jpg-1203544.JPG The Siete with goodies https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/501988/IMG_20191220_161932655_jpg-1203547.JPG More goodies under top foam https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/501988/IMG_20191220_163232658_jpg-1203554.JPG More pics tomorrow in daylight. From my husband: My FFL was scratching his head and said, "this paperwork says a pistol with a 20" barrel." I said, "yup" with the biggest grin. He then pops the case open looks at it and says, "oh yeah, that's obviously a pistol," smiles and does the paperwork. The fit and finish is absolutley amazing. I need to get some good glass for it. Thank you for the rings, Mark!! Awesome bonus on top of the already amazing bonus. Will get some of that Hornady 6.5 ELN and see what I can do. Again, humbled to have this. More tomorrow. Update from my husband:
Finally!! My son and I were able to get out and spend some time with the Siete. So fun. As I said, this is my first bolt gun and I have no experience shooting precision. However, after shooting the Siete I could see this becoming an addiction. I’ve never shot a tighter group with anything I have than with the Siete. The Siete, upright and proud! Attached File My son Attached File Me Attached File 100 yards Ammo was Hornady was 140gr ELN Optic was Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10 The groups. First shots with scope mounted but no dialing in lower right. Last group of the day in upper left. I don’t know anything about precision. All I tried to do was squeeze and pull straight back. Attached File |

I still think the forend is too short. Need more options.
I'll probably be dropping mine into an HS Precision M24 stock anyway. Been in love with the M24 since I was a kid. |

Unbelievable to me this is the only winner to bother to even say thanks Hopefully soon we will all get to start posting pics Clarifying so the record is straight. My husband says Mark emailed him stating he was a Siete winner for the Nolo #1. Mark ASKED for permission to post his name. My husband, absolutely, knew his name would go on Larue's IG page. In reality, while Ar15.com was/is a huge piece of Nolo/ML efforts, my husband viewed winning the Siete as separate from arfcom. My husband would post himself expect for then his entire post history would be linked to his name. He's fearful of being dox'd (whatever the hell that means). At the end of the day, my husband is humbled to be a winner. |

Quoted: For a long time Mark has leveraged social media to promote his products pouring way more money, effort, and PERSONAL TIME into the various forums. Look for “winner” threads from any other dealer, let alone manufacturer, and you see maybe one or two. I saw some young guys at the range today with lots of cool toys including a nightforce spotting scope. All ARs. I asked if the dude with all the toys if he was on arfcom (assuming he was. CT isn't like Texas so I assumed he would be a poster in the CTHTF). He said he'd "surfed around it a little but not much." I was surprised. |

I wish I had the time to shoot and post pictures but it seems I’m always busy.
Things LaRue that I haven’t used yet are my 6.5CM, Valkyrie and even my LaRue target has never been shot. After two house moves this year moving that target and realizing that heavy sumbitch hasn’t even been used has motivated me but I still need a weekend free. |
