Anyone running these suppressed? If so what can and did you swap any parts to tune it?
What are you finding works best for accurate hand loads? Anyone running a 0 MOA scope mount and find they are out of adjustment? |

FWIW, I shot the 6.5 G UU at 600 yards in a 20-25 mph wind at 2 o’clock this morning. Once I got my dope, @ 42” wind hold, I went 5/6 on an 8” plate. I am happy with that. Shooting steel with the G is much better than with the 223. You can see, and hear the hits.

Shooting Hornady Black, my ballistic data said I had enough adjustment left to dial to about 950 yards. I have since added a 20 moa scope I am not loading yet, but will do so down the road. |

Quoted: I'm shooting suppressed. The suppressor is a Griffin Armament Optimus. One thing I noticed even before shooting suppressed was that mine was over gassed, and when I attached the suppressor it was throwing my brass over 20ft away, I just attached a SLR Works adjustable gas block and all is well now. Quoted: I'm running a SLR adjustable block (.45 spacing) with a direct thread AAC Cyclone .30 can. Runs like a top. It ran fine with the factory tube and block, but was a lil gassy for my left handed shooting pleasure. Mine shoots MOA with the thermal, I'm sure it would do way better with a regular scope too. Quoted: Probably the coolest gun I’ve bought in years Speaking of looking for a good deal on some SST if anyone has seen any? View Quote Edit, I have it sitting on a Wilson Combat lower. It is as tight as can be and zero complaints about the lower. But, it really needs to be sitting on a LaRue lower. What’s the deal? CanUU small block owners order a lower? Call in only? Thanks |

First deer with the UU Grendel. Shot at 215 yards. 120 grain Nosler BT with 26 grains IMiR 8208 XBR. Deer made it 25 yards. No blood and couldn’t find the entrance wound. The bullet went through and was recovered on the opposite side just under the skin. The bullet weighed 90 grains and opened about 50 percent of the way down. Awesome rifle. Tranquillo suppressor should be out of NFA jail any day. Awesome rifle. I’m going to get one in 5.56 now. Attached File

Poor guy was starring at it waiting for it to spin. Pretty sure he was not a legal deer, did not meet minimum spread rule for my county View Quote |

Having a near benchrest inside a stand isn't fair-but it ain't illegal either.
I have 2 nice bow stands that are super comfortable. But the windows force you to shoot mostly unsupported. Stepson missed a buck (at the bow feeder) last year with a scoped rifle. This year I added a 125 yard feeder and today I bolted in that rest and took some pics. The rest was taking up room in my shop-different project, but will get another for that project later. It was pure joy to use. The bow feeder is hog proofed, put up the 125 yard feeder for porkers-but apparently bucks like it too. fwiw, I got depressed about shooting a few years ago. Once upon a time, shooting 1moa was what I pretty much expected out of any rifle I owned (with obvious known exceptions). Then out of the blue-I could not hit shit. Built a sturdier shooting bench, got better bags, then got much better bags-still was shooting 2moa at best... I had some medical issue, nothing I thought was that major-thought fuck, maybe they had just ruined the sport for me. Well, first there was the DPMS 308. Changed out the trigger, free floated the barrel, tried different scopes-still 4" groups, Then a 300bk sbr, then a 458 socom SBR. Finally a LaRue PreditAR-hell could not even sight it in. At some point in all this narrative came my collection of rifle rests... Anyway, the RPR was the last straw (got tired of waiting on the Seiti). Already had the new bench, new rifle rest, wow one hole... then randomly decided to change scopes mounts (to LaRue) on the PreditAR, problem solved. In addition to that, found one blown out a scope and a set of reloading dies that were off. In the end, however did enjoy the collection of better rifle rests... Needless to say the IPO is a dream to shoot as well. It would be my go to gun, except the thermal is sighted in on the OBR. |

Got a quick zero on her. I haven’t shot any sort of precision guns in a little over 12 months so don’t judge the gun for my lack of practice

It a has an ACSS Orion at the moment, but that's ment for my 30-06 bolt gun. It's mount wasn't finished in time for deer season, so I threw that scope on the Grendel for more magnification. Didn't end up needing it, I should have known better. |

First shot was 30ish yards with him quartering away. I was walking in at day break (7am) with everything on my back (Hybrid stand, WE Stepps, backpack, etc) and he came cruising through some thick brush 50yrds from where we met during bow season. I got the jump on him, but shot slightly back. I had the scope dialed up to 8x which was too much for the area. It clipped guts and took out the back half of his lungs. I waited, then tracked decent blood and ended up jumping him. My second shot was better placed right in the boiler room, but he still put up quite the fight. I had high hopes for the Fusion but after cleaning him I have some reservations. It was not the trauma I'd hoped for. I'm going to give the SST's a try (they weren't available at my shop) and possibly the ABLR. Also, the Hornady ELD-M shoots very well for me, may consider it. |

love my 6.5G UU. I've only had it to the range once, but after a little warm up (for me, not the gun) it was consistently shooting around .75". . . limited by the nut behind the scope.
Mark, I heard a rumor that previous UU buyers can still get a discount on the Tranquilo. is that true? |
