Just a heads up if you see "at front desk" as your status your payment might be jacked up. I called to fix it and they said they would ship it out today.

One 14.5 5.56 Stealth and one 16 Predatar 5.56, and added a Trijicon MRO w/ mount. Pretty stoked to have a decent build, since my last one was a Del-ton, while it has been great and reliable, just needed something new. 18 years we’ve waited for you to post and you made it one hell of a first one. Quoted: Would that be any indication on an OBR in .308 do you think? View Quote This is purely speculation, but.... We know they do the UU in batches specific to caliber. I've waited for almost a half year when people were getting their 6.5 CMs in 2 weeks to a month. From that, I deduced that the barrel itself was the limiting factor, since I think the CM upper and 7.62 upper share parts, aside from the barrel. I'm not sure what leo/.mil obligations LaRue has in regards to their .308 rifles/uppers, which could have delayed things as well. So, I *think* it's a positive sign. |

Planning on placing a order for the 14.5 UU Kit in 5.56. Do they take payment at time of order or when it actually ships?
|
|
|
Its funny that we have been tracking progress based on barrels. Today It looks like OD furniture is what is shipping
|
|
I noticed that too. And can anyone confirm the thread pitch for a .308 UU stealth barrel?

What are the chances that the UU Kits will still ship if Sleepy Joe gets all his bull shit restrictions passed? Was planning on placing a order today but didn't really think about the long ship times, which I have no issues with.

I ordered the 22 inch 6.5 cm around November as well haven’t seen any of those shipping yet they must be doing 18 inch for know.

LaRue is pretty good about getting those out the door. They don’t charge until they ship, so no real downside to just placing an order. |

I received my 12" 300BLK UU today after waiting patiently for 4 months. I was epically disappointed to discover they forgot to include the trigger, LPK, and pistol grip.
The good news is that after a relatively quick call to LT, Taylor is getting the parts out to me. |

Got mine today also. 300blk. No LPK?!?!
I will make a phone call tomorrow but that is odd. |

Quoted: You didn't get one either!? View Quote Nope. I double and triple checked to make sure that I didn't set it aside either... Thought I was going crazy. View Quote The grooves are noticeable and it has not been the same on the 3x UUs I have now. One of my bolts has them also. Staking on the bolt I got today was light but acceptable. I might start another thread outlining the variances. They go bang and seem to hold a group so I am not formally bitching about it |

But as usual, LT customer service was all over it and parts are on their way. Running a business with this kind of demand must be draining. You can never manufacture, QC, pack and ship fast enough to keep people happy. As long as we don’t lose sight of the fact that shit happens, even to the best of us, we will get what we need... |

@exman98
As this was my first UU I looked everywhere too. I didn't want to call LT support and find out it was hidden somewhere and look like a dope. I suspect that the boys in the packing/shipping dept might get a talking to tomorrow. I made a joke to Taylor that the Dead Center of Precision must not apply to the folks who actually send the customers their items. She didn't seem to think I was as funny as I do. Mine did have a little bit of white on it but no where near as bad as yours. Mine almost looked like it had some kind of oil applied to it and then it was completed dried and or heated to dry. None on the handguard though, just on the receiver. The outside of the dustcover (when closed) seems to be covered in this black gunk and also scratched all to hell. I'm not sure if that is normal or if it will come off. But it's a dust cover so meh. Tomorrow I'll spray down all the metal with Qmax Black and see how it looks. |

I'm going to order one of their PredatAR ultimate uppers in 7.62. I'd like to use a Griffin Armament brake. If I choose an upper with "no brake", does it have a flash hider or is it just a threaded barrel?
|
|
Just checked when I ordered. 9/27.
Hell I don’t even know what I ordered it’s been so long. I guess one day I’ll get a rifle. |
