I have a ton of gift cards, even bought some at 50 cents on the dollar.

Releasing it now would be bad. FFL's closed when rifle gets there and I'm sure his shipping guys and office is on lock down.
They need to concentrate on existing proven stuff and release this rifle after this shit storm blows over. I sure what they have in stock would be gone in 60 seconds, but how many of those sales would be panic buyers with no idea what they had or ever review. A new highly anticipated release when no one is even paying attention and concerned about the worlds future will hurt it in the long run. Does any body even care about any new car or truck roll out today? |

My bet is panic buying is increasing the backlog of other stuff - so once again the 7 project is going to the back burner. Then when we get out of this, there might be a lull til the election panic, then depending on that the post election panic...
I could be wrong, but the 7 project is a what the fuck are we going to sell when AR’s are either outlawed or the market is so flooded they have free time on the cnc machines. |

If the gov sends me money, I plan on a 12” UU kit and a S&W 360PD. I feel like I’m obligated as an American and a Republican to buy guns with said money haha. Plus I’m a firefighter and am not missing any paychecks during this.

Where can I get a torque wrench like the one used in the video of Mark swapping the barrel out on the Siete? Need one just like it.

Thought of something really sad. I check this thread (and the Team Siete) thread for updates more than I check my own email. Oh, so much fun self isolating.

Can we get an update on this. Considering selling off my gift cards and buying a tikka.

I tossed around the idea of building off a bighorn origin and going custom but I would never really benefit from a full custom rifle. I like to build and tinker so I really think the siete will satisfy that with me being able to swap out to a pistol and back to the creedmoor. I have waited this long what is another few months or even a year.

The Siete project seemed to go from hot to cold faster than a knife fight in a phone booth. Between coronavirus and this being an election year, I think it could be a while before the bolt gun is moved back to the front burner. |

I’m taking the under, I think mark will at least release the first 500 by the 4th of July.
Once the new cnc’s start shitting out parts he should catch up in no time. |

What do you base this off of in number of parts? How many parts is he behind and how many a week does he need to cut to keep up? What’s his current throughput? How much more will he have with these 16 HAAS? 10% more? He’s already got a shit ton of them Just curious. |
|
Due to the current situation I will probably hold off until all this shit lifts. I don't need to spend on a new caliber during a depression
If I could get a long 308 barrel and be able to purchase a 6.5 later maybe. We know Mark likes to sell new rifles instead of spare barrels in different calibers. |

View Quote My thought is the programs are written, the prototypes are built the new cncs are being hooked up and mark will be looking to make some return on his investment. I also think he is sitting on a couple hundred already before the “rush” with the numbers he said he was producing. I don’t think mark sets up machines to run one part at a time and we know he took 10 siete pistols to shot, gave 5 nolo ones away to hugely disappointing shooters. It may be a fools bet at 500 but I could easily see the first 125 going out to honor the 4th of July and bring some excitement to the masses. I hope if the option arises he would allow the costa and other special edition followers to get their number. |
