I will hang in there. This was a money up front venture so I ASSumed this wouldn't degrade into a year or more long wait like other customers have had over rifles, barrels, etc. that they DIDnT pay for up front. Alas... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Can not let this fall to the second page. Plan is to run. My SUURG 556 in a rifle class next month.
Anyone get an update? We're only a little behind schedule at this point.
received my upper and lower, still waiting on suppressor 9 months and counting. It would be nice if LaRue could keep folks in the loop, how hard can it be to send out e-mails letting people know whats going on. LaRue's products are solid, but there are other quality MFG's out there, if i had know this would be the time frame, which is way off from the estimate given, would have gone the conventional SBR route and would be all done by now most like likely or very close. at this rate who the hell knows. Not a happy camper.

Have my upper and lower. No movement on the cann. Highly likely to hit 2019 without even having paperwork sent in on the can I prepaid for
finally some good news, suppressor shipped today 10 months and 7 days from order, next up NFA paperwork and more waiting.
Okay okay....
So I get my two .224 orders placed within 2 minutes of the very first email arriving in 2017 still haven't shipped... From what I can tell, none of the Valkyries have shipped. But I also ordered two lowers at the same time (actually in separate orders). So why the bloody F haven't my lowers shipped while I see people ordering after me have gotten theirs?!? |

Attached File Is there any chance of getting the original Stealth/SURG configuration? It's just that I have shot a LOT of 10.5 & 12" SBRs and don't really see the point of the burn guard. Fun fact: the only time I've ever burned my arm on a can was a 16" tOBR 7.62 with a SOCOM can. I've never been burned by a can on a SBR. |
Just got the shipping notification for my suppressor. 6.5 upper and lower ordered on 1/7/2018.
Now waiting for the next clock to start, love the ATF. Question I have for the other owners. Is there a swag set for the SUURG? Not expecting anything since its an upper kit, but wanted to double check. |

I did not get any swag with mine. I am hoping that Mark will allow use early folks to buy a special SUURG hat though....

Called in and changed from .224V to 5.56. Was informed of changes happening to Federal Ammunition's .224V recipe, and that was the hold up.

Now I am not sure why that would hold up LaRue besides that is the ammo they wanted to test with... But guys on Snipers hide have been having good results with the 75gr loads. |
FGMM was showing pressure signs and blowing primers, and not consistently shooting sub-MOA, and the FGMM is the test load, so there wasn't any testing to be done.
After my change to 5.56, got a shipping notice for the upper yesterday.
Hopefully the can and lower aren't far behind. |
Can/burnguard made it to my local dealer, finally! Now wait number 2 begins.

LaRue branded BUIS installed. Polymer installed. I should have asked for FDE, but I forgot to. I did get an errand screw with the GAPs so the last one isn't installed. What is the time frame of lower receiver or suppressor + guard shipments? I see superdoc maybe got his can to his dealer about a month after receiving the upper? |

Anyone get their stamp and can out of jail yet? If so, how long was the wait after $200 cashed? Seems like average is 7 months

Quoted: My check cashed July 13th - I think I was one of the earlier ones to receive mine (a 5.56). Based on my last 5 stamps, I’m anticipating about 200 days - or near the end of January. Anything earlier will be a pleasant surprise. View Quote I was hoping for 150 days so I could get this by Christmas. |

Thanks, ya’ll
Looks like spring for mine then Looking forward to it, though |

Anyone try to purchase a different caliber barrel? I bought a .223 but wish now I had gone 6.5g. If no luck on barrels how about a muzzle device or two?
I’d really like to bang some steel with the 6.5 g |
I called to get a status on my stamp, as my checked was cashed the last week of July and the person told me that on avg trust are running 7 months. So maybe March for me.
I would probably have a 6.5 G with a 1-6 scope on it if. . I knew it was gonna ship as soon as I played for it... but... probably good.. that is just one less gun to have and not shoot enough lol

Will be using my SUURG. This weekend in a NVG course Friday and Saturday night. Will try to get pics a video.

May cancel - not because I’m inpatient, just in the meantime I’ve accumulated other Larues and just question the need / want at the point. |

Ok just got home from Green Line Tactical’s Night Fighter night one. Guys you are going to love this rifle! Where should I start? First tonight was on the light side of shooting, sent somewhere between 360 to 400 rounds down range. No blow back what so ever! Still amazed at this, not a single whiff of powder at all. Next thing is I don’t really have any truly compatible NVG red-dots. So we I pulled my TA-44 from my PredATobr and the first shoot hit the 8 inch plate from 50 yards, which allowed my to co-witness the MAWL I had rented for this class. My PredATobr is also a 16 inch rifle, but how many people can sat they can transfer an optic and mount (LaRue of course) onto another rifle and be dead on? Mark, thank you for such a great rifle!
The fun stuff really happens in the next class and Inwill report on that Sunday morning. |

Anyone with some more trigger time with the new SURG in 5.56 NATO? What barrel twist does the SURG 5.56 NATO model come with? Is 1/7 an option? Is the barrel chrome lined or stainless steel?
Thanks |

I would guess there aren't many out there who have trigger time on one. I ordered a 5.56 SUURG about a year ago (1/2/18) during the first week 20% Off Early AdoptAR Sale. It took about 25 weeks to get the can (shipped 6/27/18). My last few stamps have taken about 200 days, so I'm not expecting it before the end of this month - likely longer now due to the government shutdown. Either that or sell it as a pistol that we can put our regular tranQUILO supressor on--- I bet he might just sell a ton of these in pistol configuration without the supressor? I know I'd be in on a couple and I might order up a couple more cans too if offered like the uu kit but in pistol configuration with the sga3 or make his own

Gentlemen, last month I put about 700 (556) rounds down range in a NVG course from Green Line Tactical down here in South Florida. The SUURG ran like a champ! No issues what so ever. I was using Lake City XM193LC1. Most of the shooting was down from within 25 to 7 yards. However we did shoot from 100, 75 and 50 yards (which was used to confirm our zero for our optics and IR/Laser). Everyone is going to love this rifle. I just wish now that I had also gotten the 6.5G as well.

Did try removing the burn guard to check the relationship of the suppresor and barrel to the rail system? If so is it equally off? |

View Quote As I was giving up and resigning to the apparent need to return the upper, a bit of yellow threadlocker caught my eye. It was the damn MagPul MLOK pic rail screw pushing against the bottom of the gas block. Owning only tOBRs beside this, I had forgotten all about the perils of attachments that use screws around the area of the gas block on slim profile hand guards. I’ve not had that problem since my MI low profile rail from years ago. Removed the pic rail section and shortened the screw so now she’s ready to rock ‘n roll. Guess we all need to feel like an idiot sometimes. Maybe I can work on making it fewer times! Attached File Attached File |
