+1 All of these ComplainARs gonna ruin the good deals for everyone! View Quote Good one though with the "complainARs" lol. I think with most of us that prefer MLok over KM are just cheering for Larue to make more great products in a variety of offerings. I don't think Larue is going to quit selling upper kits and triggers at discounted prices anytime soon. If that's what it takes to keep all those CNC machines running... |

Got my small frame today and already put it together to finish my Grendel. I swear it seemed to go together faster and easier than others I've built. Maybe imagining that, but it was pretty smooth. Now just waiting for my large frame to ship.

Yeah, like has been said, some are moving fast, some not so much. I was on the slow side. TQ ordered with my large frame UU kit on 8/25. Just shipped out from LT yesterday. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Mine got there on Friday, but my FFL is on the way to work. Today is my Monday so time to pick it up. Probably do the assembly Saturday morning while the wife sleeps in. Only reason is, I sent it to the SOT and he is 45 min from the house. The suppressor has yet to ship 3 weeks in on a form 3 at this point. . |

Don't know if they're necessarily going out in a particular order. I had a small and a large lower on the same order and only got the small so far. The large ones may not be ready, the colored ones are going to take longer from what I understand, and there may other circumstances. But likely if you got a small frame black lower in on the first day it's a good bet you'll get it soon. |

Well now that's pretty cool. You building different configurations or you gonna have twins with sequential numbers? And remember that "none of your business" is a perfectly reasonable answer to any question I may ask like that. View Quote |

a few have said it before, and I will just reinforce... While I like the idea of making a Stealth 2.0 affordable, and great for Mark to make the lowers available to those who bought the uppers:
1) why not make a Stealth 2.0 lower? The way the lower meets the upper is just.. wrong. It is not a good fit in the left rear. Yes, it is a good shooter, but no, it is butt-ugly in how the angular upper meets the curves of the lower. We need a new lower. 2) why not make the lowers available to those who buy the Stealth (1.0) uppers? |

I’m almost 500 orders before you. I ordered 2 small frame FDE/UDE and 2 large black. None have shipped. I know the email said colors would take longer. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

View Quote Hey, I agree with what you're saying about how it looks...it would be nice if it 'flowed' better. But, keep this in mind...the part of the lower receiver above the rear takedown pin, where the extension (aka buffer tube) threads into, is the weakest part of the lower. If a lower breaks, it's most likely to happen there. And the LT lowers are actually beefed up a little in that area, which is a good thing *to me*. If you removed material there to make it blend with the 2.0 upper, in my most humble opinion it would likely make it weaker. Not a good trade off...again, in my opinion. If I were to pick that whole scenario apart and could choose how to address it, I'd cut the upper with a flare at the rear that matches up to the lower. It would add a tiny bit of weight but keep all the strength. |

The UU appears to have the same profile as the 5.56 tOBR upper... http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/mfingar/PredatOBR_556_wb_zps8019718b.jpg I think what barrelnutz would prefer is an upper that looks more like a 5.56 tAR... http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/img_7439-tfb.jpeg View Quote |

Pictures of the poor fit? That has been discussed widely before. It is a cosmetic issue, not function, but it is a design issue, not fully thought through. Look at the left rear between upper and lower, and notice where the upper is angled and does not meet the lines of the curved lower. View Quote Only speculating of course. A.W.D. |
