Haha. I was about to message Mark to ask if they send out shipping notifications with tracking for their orders. View Quote I'm not too worried. When it does arrive here I know it'll be a quality product. Worth the wait. I'm just really impatient. |

I've heard it's 2/2 with an option of a heavier spring. I would also love to see a straight blade trigger in that version too! |

After getting the Grendel back in July and shooting it I was set on the MBT for my other AR-15. Just got the $99 one in with a new grip today!

Just used my last spare MBT to build an AR-47..... While I would love another spare MBT, that hundred bucks would be enough to put me over the top for the NB 7.62x39 BCG I need to finish this thing off. I could get just the bolt for less, but I don't figure the gas piston setup I will be using initially is going to last very long...

Just a heads up, if you have issues igniting 7.62x39 primers, you can put a Wolff XP hammer spring on your MBT for a little extra oomph. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Out of curiosity, is this an issue with the MBTs and AR47 uppers? I purchased this most recent MBT to put into my AR47 and haven't had any issues igniting primers yet with a standard fire control group. Will the hammer spring on the MBT be any different than a standard hammer spring? View Quote |

Got my trigger and grip last night around 7pm. Put it in last night, was at the range by 10 am today.
The reviews are good to read, but you have to shoot it to understand. Very impressed with my AR now.Shot the best groups ever with that upper today..........6.5 Grendel with Wolf ammo, no less. Thanks Mark, you never let a guy down............ |

This one feels way smoother than the first one. |

Got mine on Monday
Now to find a screw long enough to mount a grip... I should have just paid the extra $5 |

Mine shipped today, so rubbing it in won't work anymore! Haha I think I'm equally excited about the Tac. Seeing that video of the trigger firing some 250k times means I can dry fire all I want and not worry about wearing it out. View Quote Installing it was a breeze. I found a really good video online...short, to the point, no BS. Very clear instructions. This was my first upgraded trigger so I needed a bit of an explanation and this was spot on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLmZgB7bTjY As far as the trigger itself, it's very nice. For $100 it's a great upgrade. I put my factor trigger in the Tac and geez it's a nasty, heavy pull compared to the MBT. Very glad I upgraded...great product. I'm trying to stay away from building an Ultimate Upper....for now anyway... |

My experience with hard primers is that stock triggers experience failures with a standard hammer spring. MBT's have failures to ignite at about the same rate. MBT's and stock triggers don't have issues when used with a Wolff XP spring. I also use extended firing pins for 5.45/7.62x39. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I purchased this most recent MBT to put into my AR47 and haven't had any issues igniting primers yet with a standard fire control group. Will the hammer spring on the MBT be any different than a standard hammer spring? The BCG I will be purchasing has the modified firing pin in it already. I am more concerned with feeding than firing at the moment. I did have to modify the upper to match the M4 ramps in the barrel extension. I also opened up the gas port hole in the gas piston gas port since 7.62x39 is a lower pressure round than 5.56... The gas port issues on the CMMG this originally came on were resolved (after converson to DI) by opening up the gas port hole in the 5.56 barrel. (From .059 to .080). The hole into the gas piston system was even smaller than the original port in the 5.56 barrel..... So I opened it up to .125 so the gas will be regulated by the gas port in the 7.62 x 39 barrel. Finally got my MBT today. Well worth the wait.
I think this is the nicest trigger I own, even nicer than the G SD-E that was more than double the price. I like the lower weight of the second stage of the SD-E, but I seriously think I like the MBT better even with the heavier second stage. I really really wish they made this trigger with a lighter weight, around 3lb. Mark: is this trigger compatible with the JP reduced weight springs? If so, do you know what type of break weight I can expect? You made a bad ass trigger, congrats. I'll be replacing every one of my RRA triggers :) |

I'm up to 10 spares. Only improvement I'd like to see is a flat trigger. View Quote I love the trigger, the more I dry fire the more I like it. But I've always been partial to really lite triggers. Just personal preference. |

i wish I would have thought the UU thing out better. I installed the MBT and lower parts into a new seekins billet lower thinking it would be a long time or possibly never before I saw a Larue lower. Now I need both. again. Should have bought the 99 dollar deal.

ETA: must be right around 3 weeks cause I got my order completed email. |
