This is taking entirely too long to get a range report from you boys with the 18" in hand, ship it to me and I'll assemble and test fire it for you !!! Some people are making this thread the first place they check in the morning after waking up to see what the accuracy is on this new LT offering... View Quote |

So now that there is a long hand guard ... how easy will it be to adjust that gas block ? Kinda wish it was a short handguard again lol View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
SLR sells a long-handled ball driver for adjusting their gas blocks. I like the longer version because it keeps you a little further away from hot barrel. |

It has appeared in general that one of the challenges with 6.5 CM builds (and many of the industries large-platform/.308 AR's in general) is operating reliability. I look forward to hearing range reports on if the new builds are jamming or not.
[Edit to add: Being LaRue, I expect them to run ricky-tick, is what I mean to say. And I can't wait to see that confirmed). |

So none of you boys with a 6.5 Creedmoor UU in hand had a LaRue previously?
Somebody has to have access to a large lower to kick this thread off properly! I'm willing to donate praise and adoration to the first person who comes through in the clutch.... |

What length will the hand guard be for the 22”barrels? And will it be in keymod only or MLOK option available?
Should I buy now or wait until tomorrow? Lol |
|

Just realized there are no larue markings on the upper. (Besides bcg, barrel and muzzle brake) all others are marked on the upper receiver.

Interesting. Wonder why I was told 1 month (4 weeks) for mine to ship. Surely it’s purely estimated but still.. View Quote All of the other calibers had been previously offered before the UU kits. I would imagine that the demand was high for the 6.5 CM as there were a lot of requests for it after Mark released the .260 Rem. |

If mine would get here already I'd slap it onto my FDE Heavy lower and get out and see how they are shooting. Also put together some load data for a couple different combos of powder and projectile.

Finally assembled the upper and put it on my OBR 7.62 lower.
Assembly was quick other than figuring out the muzzle brake shims. Mounted a HDMR2 on a LT111 Going to the range today to check it out. Attached File ETA: Note that this a .260 Rem 22 inch - still waiting on the 6.5 Creedmoor 22 inch |
