@LaRueTactical
Ya'll should really consider your left-handed customers when selecting your charging handles... This is going to be the second PRI I throw in the trash to replace with a Radian SD. It hurts less when it's a 20 buck milspec handle. |

My apologies if it has been asked & answered before & I missed it, but do these
large frame uppers being offered in the UU kits have the M4 feedramp cuts? The only thing that was giving me pause & not ordering a 6.5 Creedmoor UU kit was the gas block not being adjustable & no LT lower available.... But I can make my own gas block & I hope that LT lowers will still be available next month, so I am all out of excuses now.... I can cut the M4 feedramps as well, it's just not as easy as having been already done by LT. |

So, if I get a 6.5 CM, could I use this barrel in my OBR? Also, how are people finding the fit of the large frame compared to the mismatch of upper and lower in the small frame? Better?
(edited 09/28/17 21:50 UTC) Seriously, for a minute, if I could get some guidance. The UU large frame, I assume, will use the same barrels as the OBR and the PredatOBR rifles (except for the UU barrels marked LW). Is that a fair statement? So, I have a 7.62 OBR, and then the FDE Heavy PredatAR, which again, has the same heavy barrels. Right? What type of barrel inter-changeability do I have, and what is missing? I assume I can buy barrel nuts as needed. I heard there was a change in barrel nut profile at some point. Part of the question is driven by questions in my head like: should I buy another gun, or get a barrel for one of the other guns, if I want to shoot an intermediate round, i.e. .260 or 6.5CM. The other part is driven by not wanting to fully invest in either ammo platform until I see which way the military wind drifts with their decision. The later because I mostly build military replica clones, and partly because where DOD goes, so goes a good ammo supply, and .260 ammo is not readily available in the way I would like it today. Thanks. |

Anybody with 22" 6.5 or 260s have any shipping status? Knew the change to the longer handguards would take some time.

I’ve posted this before. This is the small frame UU on LT lower. I wouldn’t call it a mismatch. I don’t notice it. Then again I don’t care much either. LT uppers are excellent in my option and as the rule goes “form follows function,” so I’ll take accuracy. The gap between the LT upper and lower was about 1mm. A 1.5mm on the feeler gauge wouldn’t fit. I’ll do the same for the large frame tonight/ tomorrow. Hope this helps. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/136152/18DED184-F11C-402F-A0BD-5951E4BC1CB9-341550.JPG https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/136152/FAFC50C5-CAAA-4257-A692-2EA5736CC8FA-341551.JPG https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/136152/ED4C8AA1-D9C2-482F-89D6-AF1C010F5376-341553.JPG View Quote It's not so much that it looks mismatched, as the square shape of the upper and round shape of the lower seem a little out of place. Below is a picture of the interface on my 5.56 OBR. Attached File I just placed an order for a UU in 6.5 Grendel. |

I originally thought the same thing, but a 5.56 tOBR is the same way - so if they are awesome, the UU is too. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/mfingar/PredatOBR_556_wb_zps8019718b.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
