Per the email:
We are offering a limited run of our automatic sniper training targets to the public at the same price as agencies pay for them - $1,865.00 each.
Conceived and developed here at LaRue back in the early 1990s, these are the mainstay of UDRs, unknown distance ranges in the US Military's range arsenal. Anybody who's anybody in the long gunning/sniping world knows and loves these targets. Sit them out at random distances as far as you want to attempt to hit them, turn them on and drive back to your rifles and start shooting. The target falling dead in the dirt gives instant feedback. Then the deer feeder battery powered, military-grade mechanism turns on and sits the target back up ... and will do so ~1,800 times on a full battery charge. We have not offered these to the public in this manner ever before. Here's your chance to own one or several at the same price the US Military and agencies get them for. We are in the process of completing this run and will ship to you the minute they pass final QA. Your credit card will be charged the day your order is placed. Enjoy, Mark LaRue View Quote |

I ordered a "Whole Enchilada Agile" on 7/10/17 and haven't heard a word since. I guess I know why after the email this morn. Mark and the boys are firing up the machines and will be cranking them out in full force now. Those TG1's look pretty sweet.

If I had my own place to shoot on my property I would.
Until then I'll stick to suppressed bolt action thermal rabbit hunting. |
|
Too rich for one silhouette for my blood. It would be a fun addition to the range, but I'd rather add another couple pieces of steel and save my nickels for another rifle or thermal.
|
|
Tempting. Have some land with a range that I am finally about to build a house on. Would LOVE one of these - but think I would rather spend it on multiple pieces of steel and ammo
|
|
Have 2 already,so I'm good.wife would kill me if I started adding more of these to my collection of Larue goodness.

Mega millions draw is on Tuesday, we'll have to see after then..

The more I think about it the closer I get to ordering just because I can. Gen 3 NV and a LaRue.260 would be more beneficial to me....
Please close the orders before I succumb. |

View Quote There is a lot of machine work in them and the annual volumes are low. Translation- it's a pita that we ain't got the sense to drop from the line-up. Moreover, I decided to shut those "he won't sell to us" pukes up once and fur all. Bottom line, if you want one, I'd get it now. |

Need option for tracked base that randomly assesses terrain and changes location for random exposures and distances. That should be worth a
Small upgrade fee. |

Same guys crying about the price are probably the ones who shoot rocks and range signs when no one is looking with their "just as good match ammo." Can't fix stupid.

For the price and what you get, the price is not that bad, quality cost money...if I had my own place, I would buy one, maybe two. I can see these on a trailer, pull to various spots on your property...

Mark,
Save me one for when I get to Waco (late October), and know how much money I have left from my "Escape from California" home sale. Have to buy my new shack to live in before a fancy/schmancy target. Of course if you end up having just one dusty specimen left that nobody will buy, I can forward the new address to you for the Donate to Wiz-of-Awd's new Texas Abode program. A.W.D. |

I called 2 weeks ago to inquire about ship dates and was told they had a fairly large Sniper Target contract they were running first and it would be a couple of weeks. I'm guessing two more.

Am I the only one who thinks Yoitube hosts Hickok45 videos would be just that much cooler with about 5 of these on his much viewed testing range.....
I could almost foresee the number of viewers asking "where can I buy that target?" You know, now that civilians can buy them..... |
|
Checked the tracking, says my 120lb package should arrive tomorrow.
I thought the target only weighed 72lbs. Maybe it comes with a 20lb jug of Dillo dust and a lifetime supply of battle mixers. |

Ha, you even got swag with the target. Is it an owner's edition hat? How much does that baby really weigh? View Quote I think the weight on LaRue's site is about right. I carried it from the UPS truck, up the driveway to the house by myself. UPS got all jacked up on this and almost sent it back because they said it had no ship to address on it, then they gave it a new tracking number and the new weight said 100 lbs, down from the original 120 lbs. |
