Nice rifle. Love my Vudoo.

Hoping to get out to the local IWLA range since it's a holiday today. Might be able to get the .260 and new proof barrels zeroed.

Shot my 260 yesterday, 1st time since 8-22.
Cheap scope zero stop tightened itself somehow and I could not dial much. Got it fixed and will recheck zero today. |

A 260 tOBR in the 260 tOBR thread? Hrmm I guess I’ll allow it.
Nice shooting. I miss that ammo. |

I have been shooting mine as well, I either need to clean the 22" or its all used up. So I switched to the 18" and will shoot that a while. I have a spare 22" as well but I want to save it.
I am loving this NF btw. |

I still think the original has some life left in it, but at 4500rds, it seemed like time. |

I might just need to clean it Listen to Frank Green from Bartlein talk barrel cleaning and break-in. It starts at about 21:11 and goes to about 53:00. Worth the listen. If I can't clean a barrel after shooting, I at least run a patch of Bore Tech Eliminator or Carbon Eliminator through the bore to get the crud out and wet the bore. Frank (who is also a competitor) makes clear the carbon left in the bore absorbs moisture and can lead to issues. Frank Green - Bartlein Barrels | #64 |

It's going to be 80 degrees today so I'm heading back out to check cold bore for the AI and put a few more rounds through the tOBR to start breaking in the barrel. Might also do some pistol work too. I listened to one last night from a prominent source that was 66 minutes on reloading. Not sure I learned anything I didn't already know and practice. Basic point was many of the things we think are relevant are not, just find a load and shoot. |

The Tandemkross lower is aluminum so it adds weight. I added the comp for balance and may switch to the sparrow to see how it shoots. But positive experience aside, this has to be by design doesn’t it? And especially for those of us who are already “on file”. It should be as fast as a basic background check. I’m all but certain that government agencies know more about us than we’re comfortable with here in the technology advanced 21st century. There’s no doubt it could be done faster. Also, couldn’t one make the argument that a suppressor is less lethal than the firearm? Sorry, I’ll stop now. |
