What is your policies on rifle duty ammo?  How long do you keep it in service and when do you rotate it out?  Large, medium and small dept teams, makes no differance.  Just need a good consensus.

If you could respond to my email and leave your name and department name, location and contact numbers, it would be greatly appreciated.  This will be forwarded to my team captain.  If needed, I will be glad to submit to you in response, my department info.

Thanks, brothers.  Be safe, keep it real.

All duty ammo gets shot up on a qualification course during the spring (after winter conditions) and replaced with fresh ammo.
Additionally, (and informally)if there are any rounds expended during a shoot, any and all rounds are replaced per the operators request.
Also, if the rounds are exposed to inclement weather for an extended period (example is an eight out call out in the rain)- any ammo is replaced upon request and the old saved for a qualification.
