Arizona Department of Corrections Officers have an underground electronic news letter that is published once a month called The Lumley Vampire. It is named after Officer Lumley who was murdered in the control room where he was posted. Apparently none of the locks worked properly which allowed several inmates to brake in and slit his throat. The Director tried to say it was Officer Lumleys fault. So the other Officers that knew better started the Lumley Vampire in his honor in an attempt to uncover the Directors untruths.
The Vampire has evolved into a central location where Arizona Correctional Officers can pass information to each other about their Units, Inmates, Supervisors and anything else that bugs them. Management hates it and is trying continually to stop it but they don't know who the editors are. It's great reading.
